Regency at Poipu Kai is centrally located on Kauai`s beautiful South Shore in the heart of Poipu. This vacation haven is equidistant between the Grand Hyatt Kauai and Shipwreck Beach and the world famous Poipu Beach and Brennecke`s Beach. Less than ten minutes walking time will take you to either. The Regency at Poipu Kai is graced by a beautiful walkway called the greenbelt which provides you with walking paths throughout the Poipu Kai area, a 70-acre resort consisting of several unique condo developments, a residential area with homes, a large tennis facility (Poipu Kai Racquet Club), and garden paths connecting the areas of the resort. The Regency at Poipu Kai has access to two swimming pools, one fronting Building 6 and one five minutes away--both have hot tubs.
Imagine yourself walking to beautiful Poipu Beach, perfect for swimming, snorkeling or laying out in the sunshine. Poipu Beach also has a large grassy park with a children`s play area, showers, bathrooms, restaurants and shopping. Next door, you will find Brennecke`s Beach--Kauai`s premier body surfing and body boarding beach.
In the other direction, you will discover the beauty of Shipwreck Beach to watch the sunrise or climb the Mahaulepu Coastal Trail beginning just beyond the beach. This trail is a special part of the Kauai History Heritage site and the last stretch of accessible coastline on the South Shore that has not been developed. The trail leads to beautiful Mahaulepu Beach, a great place to spot whales in the winter or observe (from a distance) a monk seal napping on the beach.
Or, try wandering around the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa`s lush tropical gardens or indulge in a reviving treatment at the resort`s world-class Anara Spa. This lovely setting lets you easily explore the natural wonders of our Garden Isle of Kauai. Try dining at one of several delightful restaurants or enjoy Kauai`s galleries and shops. Treat yourself to one of Kauai`s best luaus, featuring authentic dance, events and cuisine.
On the opposite side of the Hyatt, only a ten-minute walk away, is the world famous Poipu Bay Golf Course situated on 210 oceanfront acres--challenging at all levels of play and yet fun for the novice as well. Poipu Bay hosted the PGA Grand Slam of Golf from 1994-2006.

Thank you for viewing my properties!
My name is Amy Grant and I own a boutique vacation management company in Kauai called Great Vacation Retreats.
I happily work and reside in Kauai and have been managing vacation rentals on the Garden Isle for almost 4 years.
Been married to my husband, Scott, since 2003 and we have a beautiful little girl named Presley. When we aren't busy chasing her around, we enjoy going to the beach, cooking and traveling.
I love working with my guests to find the perfect place for them to call home while on vacation. It can be overwhelming trying to pick out the right property -- I can help. My staff and I take great pride in the properties we manage and believe that we truly have some of the best properties the island has to offer. We have been in each property numerous times and stayed in most so that we can give you an accurate description of what each property's amenities are, distances to the beach, sightseeing, restaurants, etc.
We can also help you with any activities you might be interested in while on island such as surfing lessons, private boat charters, guided hikes, stand up paddling, personal chef, childcare and much more!
Mahalo for looking :)
My husband and I were married at Kee Beach on the North Shore and visited the island several times after. We used to manage vacation rentals in Lake Tahoe and many of the owners also owned property in Kauai and asked if we would be interested in starting a business here. After a couple of years, we finally made the move and have been blissfully happy ever since. The island has so much natural beauty and outdoor activities, yet it still doesn't have that 'big resort' feel. It is a great, safe place for children and also makes for a perfect honeymoon or anniversary destination.
There are so many outdoor activities to enjoy here -- going to the beach, surfing, stand up paddling, horseback riding, hiking, sightseeing, taking a boat charter along the Napali Coast, kayaking, camping, biking, etc.
I enjoy getting a spa treatment at the Anara Day Spa at the Hyatt. If you enjoy going to a spa, their facial is perfect.
My husband and I met at culinary school and consider ourselves 'foodies'. We love the Kilauea Bakery for a great cup of coffee and the bialys (stuffed bagels) are amazing. Some other restaurants that we enjoy are Josselins, the Kalaheo Café, Postcards, Roy’s, Tip Top Café and Kauai Pasta just to name a few. There are some wonderful farmers markets here and fish markets (Hanalei Dolphin is the best) with their fresh local catches of the day. Ahi is, of course, an island favorite and can be found at many of the restaurants throughout the island.
Whale watching is from December - March and is quite a sight to see.
Some of the best golf courses in the US are located in Kauai.
We work with some activity providers that provide personalized hikes and activities that are 'off the beaten path' and truly show you what Kauai has to offer.
