I am a local artist. I grew up in the mining town of Fort McMurray, Alberta. Wanting to pursue art full-time my fiancée and I moved our family into this beautiful community in 2008. With the many parks, nature areas and access to the mountains it is an artist's delight, and an amazing place to raise our family, with never-ending inspiration for my art.
Leon Keeping purchased this house in 2008
This property is a beautifully unique, artistic home. It boasts spacious rooms, three having full ensuites, & many skylights throughout. Add to that the sophisticated high-tech home theater with 120 inch screen, seating for nine, surround sound and its own concession with popcorn maker, makes it a renter's paradise. Don't forget the chef's kitchen boasting double convection ovens, indoor grill and gas range. there is also double doors leading to an outdoor patio with the Traeger grill band a propane BBQ.
Being an avid cook. The kitchen is my favorite room, but the artist in me appreciates the home theater.
The master bedroom is a Greek inspired, open concept room with six piece ensuite, including a jetted tub, bidet, fireplace, hardwood floors, skylights, vaulted ceiling, ceiling fans and Juliet balcony.
Thanks so much for the feedback, I really appreciate it and I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you as well for taking the time to fill out a review.
My family just had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful home. My daughter was graduating and so people were arriving from as far east as Ontario and as far north as Yukon. We were all able to stay at the house and share this short but meaningful time together. Being family, sometimes you need a break! So some of the family found the Sapphire Theatre and enjoyed both movies and xbox games. We also found the games cupboard and played a few of those as well. The owner of the house is an artist and his talents are displayed in the house. A very creative touch to this lovely home. I definitely recommend this place for anyone because truly.....there is something for everyone. Thank you Leon!
We were blown away by the accommodations we rented to help celebrate my parent's 60th Anniversary in April 2015. The write up describing the house was one thing, and it was not exaggerated, but it was another thing completely to see the place. The artwork, the furnishings and accessories were simply amazing. Loved the full-on theatre in the basement, complete with movie posters and other theatre related knick knacks. The kitchen has everything you'd need for a gourmet dining experience. The open layout is inviting, and there are spots you can hide in for a few quiet moments if so inclined. We will not hesitate to rent here again. Cheers.
a great place for home away from home and hosting family!
We enjoyed our stay. The amazing theatre in the basement was enjoyed by many.

Your home is absolutely gorgeous and far exceeded expectations.
This house was excellent for our family while we were attending a wedding in Lethbridge. Lots of room for people to be together as well as for those who wanted more privacy. We enjoyed this much more than if we all had separate hotel rooms. We would recommend this for any family or group of people travelling together.
