My friends and I stayed at the Marksberry property for four days. It's in a great location and comes with a ton of amenities. The woodwork throughout is breathtaking. Needless to say, we will be staying there next time we are in Breck.
Nice clean house on the golf course only a short drive from the slopes. Accommodated our large group of couples well. Nice living area with large kitchen for cooking for the entire group.
This house was fantastic. We loved everything about it from the huge kitchen, to the steam option in the shower. There is so much room within the house you won't feel overcrowded with 10 people. Heated floors within strategic spots was also a nice surprise. Being close to town, but not right downtown helped to create that true "get-away" feeling. Sonos wifi audio system was great also.
This is a house with a lot of room. We had 9 people fit comfortably in it with only one person on a sofa bed. The kitchen is very spacious with plenty of room for all of us to fit. Everything was very clean. The view of the mountains from the porches/patios were exquisite. We synced our phone with the entertainment system and listened to music play throughout the entire house. The house was clean, the art in the house and design of the house is tasteful and still very comfortable. This house is less than 10 miles from several ski resorts. We plan on making another trip!
Huge house with unique construction style- great ski retreat! Enjoyed mountain views from the back porch during the day and watched shooting stars from the same spot at night! Great location outside town is more relaxing but still close enough to offer convenient access to great skiing, shops, restaurants. Short walk or drive to one of the nicest public courses I've ever played. No issues with TVs or appliances during our stay so assume they're all working now (and we spent most of our time outside the house anyways...it's Breckenridge!). Loved the shower/steam room and jacuzzi in the master bath, and our friends said their jacuzzi in the 2nd master was great too! The gourmet kitchen with high end appliances and a HUGE island was great for cooking large meals for all our friends and family that came with us. I strongly recommend this house to anyone visiting Breckenridge and look forward to my next stay at Marksberry!
The Marksberry is in a great location, close to all the Breck activities. Located off hwy 9 there is a lot of road road noise, but the views from all the decks are incredible.
There were a few snags during our stay. The televisions didn't work, (the big one in the main living area is dangerously sitting on the ledge of the stairs facing an empty space between the dining room and sitting room, no place to sit and watch it). The management company (because it is not owner operated as we found out) sent someone on Monday to look at the TV's. He could't fix them and messed up our wi-fi in the process. They someone else out on Tuesday who took care of the TV'S.
The night stand doors in the master bedroom were missing, the trash compactor was broken and the hanle was just left on the counter, there were broken and crooked gas heaters and old patio furniture on the back deck (which really took away from the view). I looked at VRBO site when I was going to rent the house, and it said under ammenities Hot Tub. When we got there, no Hot Tub was to be found. The management company said, that information is not on their own website and what they mean is a jacuzzi tub in the bathrooms! With more attention to detail, maybe an outdoor Hot Tub, pool table, fire pit, working electronics, visible televisions the house would be great.
