#1 Top Rated Beach in the Country...'Siesta Key!' This condo has a FABULOUS location, right on the water. Many mornings you will enjoy the manatee or dolphins or both, as they swim by while you are sitting in the living room, master bedroom or on the screened lanai. A 3 minute walk brings you to famous Turtle Beach (a little quieter than Siesta). Directly across from the condo, you will find five star dining at Ophelia's on the Bay. Turtles Restaurant and Pub is a hop skip and a jump from this terrific location. The condo is on the south end of the key where it is peaceful with less hustle and bustle that is known to Siesta Key. But, just a 1.5 mile walk, drive or bike brings you to the center of Siesta Key where you will find local fare on the menu of its many restaurants and 'oh' the shops. Or, take a quick jaunt over South Bridge to find many more restaurants and shopping, plus Polo Events and the city of Sarasota. The 'World's Finest Whitest Sand Beach' known as Siesta Key is a mere 1.5 miles away.' You can't get better than Siesta Key for a beach. It is just under two hours to Disney and one hour from Busch Gardens. It is five miles to Oscar Shearer State Park. Day trips to Naples (just under two hours), Tampa (one hour) and Orlando (1 hour and 45 minutes) are all easy drives. There are many weekend events right on Siesta Key including Art Festivals, side walk sales and farmer's markets and in the surrounding areas. Plus, you have the luxury of being seven miles from downtown Sarasota where you can take in a show at the Van Wezel or visit St. Armands Circle with its exclusive shops, exceptional eateries and side walk cafes.
