Millbank Chambre D’Hote is The perfect place for a tranquil and peaceful holiday, with just the cows and the occasional tractor to remind you of where you are. We are on the border of the Loire Valley and Lower Normandy giving you the ideal location to explore both of these beautiful areas of France.Our farmhouse is in the middle of a working farm surrounded by dairy farming countryside.

The gîte is attached to the main farmhouse and is self catering.

The B&B rooms are in the upstairs of the farmhouse.

Heating is included in the price with all linen supplied.

Millbank Chambre D’Hote (B&B) is the perfect place for a tranquil, peaceful base for your holiday, with just the sound of the cows and the occasional tractor to remind you of where you are.

We are on the border of Lower Normandy and the Loire Valley giving you the ideal location to explore both of these beautiful areas of France.

Our farmhouse is in the middle of a working farm, set in a hamlet in dairy farming countryside. We have spectacular views over the valley, with the nearest town being Gorron and yet we are only an hour and a half from the port of Caen.

A truly relaxing base from which to explore the region’s most popular towns and coastline.

(Domfront 20 minutes away, Le Mont St. Michel, the second most visited tourist attraction in France and the D-Day landings about one hours away).

Concale - the Oyster capital of Europe in only a lovely hours drive away.

All linen is provided in both the bed and breakfast rooms as well as the gite

Fantastic facilities and fabulous hosts

We had spent a week at a campsite in Vendee before we arrived and were looking for a quiet place to relax and catch up with friends for a few days. Millbank was perfect! We spent the days eating and drinking and laughing while the children played in the pool. Sally and Steve were so welcoming and relaxed that I felt we were staying with friends. We visited the aquarium in St Malo and Mont St Michel while we were there but next time I hope to spend a bit more time in Gorron itself as it looked lovely.

We have recommended Millbank to many friends and plan to go back again next year....
