This studio Log Cabin is situated in a rural hillside garden, nestled in a peaceful, elevated position offering quality accommodation. This open plan property has a multi-fuel log burning stove with wall mounted electric heaters. The cabin offers an en-suite shower room, kitchenette with full oven and hob, microwave, fridge, LCD flat screen TV, DVD player and leather sofa bed. WiFi is also available. There are french doors leading onto a patio which has sea and mountain views and a barbecue and garden furniture. There are also wonderful scenic walks nearby and a cycle track in the village leading to the Royal Borough of Caernarfon with its famous Edwardian castle and beyond. Beautiful sandy beaches are within 4 miles away, while Anglesey and the Lleyn Peninsula with its excellent water sport facilities and golf courses are close by. The North Wales Pilgrims Way which runs from Holywell (North East Wales) to the Bardsey Island at the tip of the Lleyn Peninsula runs approximately 200 yds of the Cabin. This cabin is an unique holiday destination for a quiet, away from it all experience.
A great place to stay - so quiet with incredible views out to sea and across the Llyn. The caban is very well equipped with everything you could need. The wood burner is very cosy too. The owners were very friendly and helpful too and left flowers and welsh cakes for us.
Two minor downsides which we thought worth mentioning - the fridge is a little noisy at night (but you can turn it off at night) and the sofa bed could do with a new mattress ideally.
We would stay again - such a peaceful place to be, but with great access to everywhere in Snowdonia.
Booked this cabin very last minute and so pleased we did - its much nicer than it looks on the website. Internally done to a great standard, completely spotless. Kitchen was great, fully equipped with everything we needed. Beautiful scenary, weather was fab so we bbq'd every night. Really was a perfect weekend - complete credit to the owners - who were really welcoming and gave us the help and privacy we'd hoped for :-) It's a must visit...
Suprised my girlfriend by arranging for a weekend stay at the cabin.
She was over the moon as the location is perfect and the cabin itself is wonderful. It has everything you could possibly need and sitting in front of the log burner during the evening was lovely.
We would recommend it to everyone and we will definetley stay again. The views and walks are brilliant and it is only a short drive to caernarfon, bangor or porthmadog.
Thanks again for a wonderful stay
As a couple who are largely allergic to the great outdoors we can't recommed this cabin highly enough. It is tranquil and homely and perfect for getting away from it all - with the added bonus of being surrounded by everything this beautiful area has to offer. Everything you could want is at hand and the owners (and thier pets) are warm and unobtrusive to the perfect level. The cosy cabin is of a very high standard and has everything you could need and was very clean and obviously well thought out. We wouldn't hesitate to return and probably will very soon.
My husband and I enjoyed a vacation here in May 2011 and found it be peaceful and tranquil. We were made to feel welcome from the very beginning, with the little extras left for us. The owners were there if we needed them but left us to have a romantic week away. The views were outstanding, you can see the mountains and the sea from your decking outside the cabin. The cabin is just like you see in the photos, it's very clean, warm and homely. You get a friendly "good morning" from the 2 dogs and the friendly peacock in the garden. There are great walks around and plenty to do in the surrounding area. We can also recommend the Chinese in the village, best we ever had. Thanks for a great time.
My husband and I loved this cabin from day one and didn’t want to leave at the end of our stay. The views and scenery are truly amazing (and being from Yorkshire that is no small comment as we are surrounded by beautiful scenery at home).
The cabin itself is spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We took all sorts of things for self catering, of which were not needed. Good linen and towels are provided. The owners also supplied coffee, tea and milk for our arrival and some lovely welsh cakes. There are two supermarkets close by in Caernarfon (Tesco and Morrisons) so it is easy to pick up anything you may need once you get there. We had a mixture of both good and bad weather, which enabled us to enjoy both the lovely little patio at the front and also to sit by the cosy log fire in the rainy weather.
The owners dogs are wonderful and came running to greet us whenever we came and went from the cabin and there is also a resident peacock which you may see around the front of the house.
There are beautiful beaches nearby and we also nipped over onto Anglesey to visit Llanddwyn Beach. There is so much to do we didn’t want to do it all so there is an even bigger reason to go back to the cabin!
