The apartment is in an elevated position on a gently sloping site. Inside the apartment is light and spacious. The Lounge/Dining Area looks out onto a very spacious Balcony with delightful sea and mountain views. Our own Roof Sun Terrace is accessed by our Private Staircase. It is lit for evening dining (lights are controlled by our apartment). Unrestricted views and built in BBQ make this an ideal area to while away the warm lazy days. Our Balcony is part shaded to give sun or shade as required.
The Master Bedroom is En Suite; there is a twin Bedroom, a separate family bathroom with bath and shower, and a fully fitted kitchen to complete the comfort.
A comprehensive Information Pack (area, apartment details, site description, restaurants, places to visit, etc) is sent to guests in good time before the visit. There is also in the apartment another information file which repeats much of the information and also gives detailed operation instructions on all appliances.

Now some more about the apartment and the location.
Why did we choose this apartment, and why in this area? We bought the apartment because we could see that it was going to be a fantastic development - and we were right! We have made many improvements and have fully equipped it with satellite TV, DVD player, CD player and radio, coffee filter, etc.
There is a WiFi 'dongle' freely available for your use in the apartment. (Guests are responsible for topping up the dongle to their own Gb requirements at island phone shops).
There is also a water cooler which is a boon for the Summer. The apartment is air conditioned in the main bedroom and in the lounge/dining room. The second bedroom has a ceiling fan because guests have told us that they like the option of cooling air movement for themselves and for their children. There is a wall safe in the apartment to give guests that extra feeling of comfort (even though Northern Cyprus is a low crime location). There is a baby's high chair in the apartment, and additional baby equipment (cot (including linen), buggy, etc, can be hired on request at time of booking).
Throughout the apartment tasteful quality pictures complete the brightness of the decor .
The site itself is totally secure and beautifully kept by the management company, and the feeling of community between the few that live on the site and holidaymakers is wonderful. It is a really good mix of the local people who live close to the site, and in Esentepe Village. The site is a profusion of gardens. It has a full size swimming pool, and a childrens pool. Both are illuminated and they make a lovely sight at night looking down from our balcony or roof terrace. Covered areas around the pools and copious numbers of sun loungers and tables make this an ideal spot to relax, and to feel safe that children can be kept in the shade under the generously sized shades (6m x 3m).
The site gymnasium is fully equipped with running machines, weights, table tennis table, etc. The gymnasium is where the book and DVD library is situated. There is even a set of golf clubs for free hire (if available).
For our valued guests in the event of emergencies our agent is at the end of a telephone to give that added assurance of a relaxing holiday.
Esentepe village is only a short walk (of about 30 minutes) along a gently sloping road. We have safely and comfortably walked to and from the village at all times after a pleasant meal in one of the local restaurants there. At night the natural star light is a wonderful backdrop to a delightful walk. The village is also served by timetabled Buses that will transport you to many places. In summary, the Esentepe area has all the rugged beauty of an unspoilt area and yet still has all amenities close by. Local supermarkets in Esentepe serve all day to day necessities at reasonable prices.
Visits and Special Interest Holidays: Activities available in North Cyprus are fishing, Golf, scuba diving, paragliding,
mountain climbing, water parks, horse riding, boat tours, walking, bird watching and guided nature walks. The list goes on. Walking in the mountains is breath taking. There are beaches nearby where the Turtles come up to lay their eggs in the sand. (May to July). The eggs hatch out between July to Sept. Ornithologists 'flock' to the Karpaz ('the Pan Handle') to witness the many bird migrations that occur, either as a stopping off point en route to Africa, or as their Winter 'second home'.
There is a Cyprus guide book in our apartment, and many recommendations are contained in the comprehensive Guest Information Manual that we have prepared over many years. Visits to historical castles such as St Hilarion, Buffavento and Kantara together with the Bellapais Abbey, and the Shipwreck Museum in Kyrenia Harbour make for interesting days out. Famagusta and Salamis are also a must for visiting, in particular for the walled city (Famagusta) and the ancient ruins (Salamis).
Getting here: Ercan is our nearest airport in Northern Cyprus (30 mins drive). You can also fly to Larnaca in the south (about 1.5 hours drive). We can help with planning Car Hire or Airport Pick Ups on request. Our recommended car hire company (we have been using them for 5 years), and give excellent car hire rates. They also give heavily discounted taxi rates for collection from and return to Larnaca Airport for their car hire renters.

We are an active retired couple who have come to love Northern Cyprus for its peace, and the opportunity for some great walks. We come to the apartment several times per year to ensure that our standards are maintained, although our agent Paul, and his wife have not disappointed us in all the years that they have looked after our second home.

Guests have said both to us and in their Reviews that this is the best positioned apartment on the site. 270 degree views of sea and mountains are truly awe inspiring - especially from the private roof terrace at sunset.
The site consists of only two floor blocks, which adds to its homely ambience.
We loved the apartment, beautiful accommodation it followed our stay at Crystal Marina which we thought would be hard to beat, but it was all the little touches and extras that made it perfect. The only downside of our stay was the weather , the electrical storms and hail caused quite a lot of power cuts.
Anyway all in all had a great time and left your apartment as it was when we arrived, we also minimised our use of towels etc and completed the small extra list you had left including last but not least turning the water off.

We were happily surprised by the beauty and comfort of the house of Esentepe. Seaterra is a fantastic residence and the apartment of Norman has everything you could want. We regret only for not having enjoyed more days. The location is convenient to the cities, the beaches and the most interesting areas of northern Cyprus, but also to relax (the pool is magnificent, at all hours). We really hope to be back there again.

Norman and June's apartment at the Sea Terra complex was very much as described. Spacious, spotless and very well furnished. It had two big bedroom's with a large lounge and a lovely big balcony. The swimming pool was enormous, very clean and had plenty of sun loungers. We visited in July/August and it was never busy. The gardens are also well tended. The air conditioned apartment was a god send as temperatures were very high when we visited. You will definitely need a car to make the most of your holiday. We have been to this area before and were well acquainted with the nearby village of Esentepe. The village has everything that you need, restaurants, shops, bank and bags of local charm. Other restaurants in the area were first class and we never had a bad meal. The village is too far to walk to, especially at this time of year with the very high temperatures that we had. Make sure you get all of Norman's information pack as the gated complex is nigh on impossible to get into without the correct code!

We have just spent 3weeks at seaterra esentepe complex. The apartment that we stayed in was an upper penthouse 2bedroomed. The apartment was very clean, tidy, and well equipped for all your needs. We had a beautiful view whilst sitting on the veranda, then when on the roof we had a 360degree view of sea and mountains. The water cooler in the apartment was a godsend as a lot of the time the weather was 40degrees. Thank you to Paul and his wife who called to see if we needed anything. We arrived around midnight and we had water,milk,tea,coffee,sugar,bread,butter to use,thank you. There is so much to see and do in north Cyprus and plenty of restaurants that serve gorgeous food. Fillet steak in drambui sauce at marina bistro, and kleftico(lamb on the bone) cooked in a clay oven, and much more. We will certainly be going back next year. Thank you Norman and June for letting us use your beautiful apartment.

The apartment is clean, well equipped and maintained and is perfectly situated for sightseeing in northern Cyprus, there is so much history we were amazed. The sea view from the balcony is gorgeous and such a treat to wake up to in the morning, most breakfasts were taken on the balcony and the upper terrace is great for views and sunbathing and that early evening drink!!
Seaterra complex is well kept and everyone we met there was friendly, the small gym's equipment is all you would need while on holiday. The swimming pool is large and clean with the small pool for children adjacent. Car hire is arranged by the owner of the apartment and we found this easy to access. Driving is on the lefthand side so no problems, it's like being at home but better as the roads are very quiet.
I would definitely recommend this apartment for either a quiet relaxing holiday or as a base for either walking or cycling holidays.
Our local village:
The apartment is about 1 km from the authentic Cypriot village of Esentepe with small supermarkets and inexpensive restaurants. Several have outside terraces with magnificent views of sea and mountains and serving both local and international food.
Kyrenium Golf Club (10 mins drive) has fine dining and comfortable lounges.
The beautiful historic harbour town of Kyrenia (Girne) is an easy 25 minute drive with a profusion of quay side restaurants, bistros and quiet night life. Our regularly updated recommendations are contained in the Guests Information Pack in the apartment.
Only 10 minutes drive to the West are beaches at Alagadi, Acapulco, Turtle Beach, Lara Beach. Most have beach side restaurants. 30 minutes drive to the East are the Karpaz beaches which are recognised universally as 'magnificent'.
Where do we start! Esentepe is a traditional Cypriot delight, for natural coastlines, countryside and archaeology
Golf: For Golfers the beautifully laid out championship standard 18 hole Korineum Golf course is fast gaining a reputation that is attracting Golfers from all over the world. It is only a 10 minute drive from the apartment. The co-located Academy has a practice ground, pro shop, and a wide range of equipment for sale. The Golf Course has a superb Spa, and outside balconies to watch the golfers toiling away, while enjoying a drink or snack, or full dining.
Hopefully never to be required, but there is a 24hour Medical Facility in Esentepe.
