Owner of Casa Verde Inn B&B in La Paz I'm an italian in love with old mexican houses. I have remodeled few mexican houses and Casa de los Corazones is one of these.
Cinzia Porro purchased this house in 2012
Casa de los Corazones is new, clean, cozy, quiet, charming, walking distance to everywhere here in La Paz.
Charming small Mexican house in downtown.
My husband an I stayed at this lovely property for 8 days in January. The home was impeccably clean, very comfortable, and we loved the outdoor back patio. Everything we needed was provided in la casa, and we particularly appreciated arriving to the milk and breakfast treats after a long trip from New York City. We fell in love with Paz, and enjoyed all the great beaches and restaurants. We had a car but we also enjoyed taking a walk to the nearby Malecon. We really loved our stay in La Paz and if we return, we'll definitely be staying a Casa de los Corazones. Cinzia and Roberto are truly lovely hosts!
the propety was very clean and confortable. Warm, even if the very hot wether in La Paz.
The bed was very good.
It's not so closed to the centre of the city, but La Paz is little and safety, so it's a good way to take pictures walking around!
The owner were vary frendly and helped us to find the best place to visit.
I was staying in El Centenario and wanted a taste of downtown living in La Paz so moved to this property for 1 week in June. I was so glad I did! The property is centrally located, just about 10 minutes from the Malecon. You have access to all of the sights and activities of La Paz within walking distance. The property is very safe as well and I was staying there as a single woman without any concern.
The house is very clean and well decorated. Cinzia has put every last detail into this property and it shows. Including a nice surprise when she dropped off some items for breakfast for me so I didn't need to go to the market the day I arrived.
The house is quiet, very clean and well located and I would definitely stay again when I visit La Paz again.
Our best vacation rental ever. For the last twenty years we plan our holidays around visits to various Mexico cities. Our Christmas holiday visit to La Paz was by far our best mostly because of the beautiful, convenient and well managed guesthouse/rental. Our host Cinzia Porro made every effort to make us welcome. Our entry to the guesthouse was a wonderful experience as we were welcomed by a Christmas gift of a prized bottle of wine.
The house is decorated beautifully, the kitchen had everything needed and the little patio had a barbeque ready for our use. The patio was well used for afternoon siestas and just relaxing with a book.
The guesthouse is a convenient ten minutes walk to the Malecon which offers about five miles for walking along the beach. The central district is in easy walking distance for shopping, food markets and good restaurants.
I highly recommend The Guesthouse. We plan to repeat our visit to La Paz next Christmas and will book early. If vacationers have questions that a can answer I would ask our host Cinzia to refer them to me. He has my email address.
Absolutely charming, comfortable and convenient! My wife and I stayed here for 10 days and we loved it. The house is decorated beautifully and the kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoy cooking as well as eating out, and we did plenty of both! We particularly enjoyed the closed courtyard at the back of the house. Perfect for enjoying the beautiful La Paz weather with a glass of your favorite libation in hand.
We like to walk, and everything in the central district is walkable from this location. We took strolls along the Malecon, went to great restaurants, galleries, the mercados... even got to know the local baristas...all on foot. You're a short walk away from the Malecon, but far enough away that you won't hear the hustle and bustle on weekend nights (or during Carnival, which is when we stayed). If you want to go outside the central district you'll want a car or you can use the taxis. Again, all easy to do from "The Guesthouse".
The hosts are wonderful. They were always available by phone and made it clear that they enjoyed being hosts and helping us to have a wonderful experience in their special city. Maps of the central district are waiting in the house and they arranged taxis for us when we needed them.
I highly recommend The Guesthouse, and I wouldn't hesitate to book Casa Verde, either, based on my experience.
I highly recommend Casa Verde! Myself and two colleagues stayed here for a week while we were teaching a class in La Paz. Cinzia and Robert are very welcoming and supportive, and very warm, pleasant people. The house was nicely decorated and very clean and organized. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils and a coffee maker. Simple, but quiet back patio. Located on a quiet, nice street, near the Malecon, very convenient while being much more quiet than places on the Malecon. A happy, comfortable home to stay in. I look forward to staying there again. Thank you Cinzia!
