Great for serious cyclist or weekend warrioirs wanting to train in high altitude. Drive to snowskiing in 25 minutes. Museum of Northern AZ., quaint downtown for art walks on first Fridays are within 15 minutes. Sits high in the Pines on 5 acres. Very private and quiet. Full bathroom, kitchenette with amenities, DVD and big screen TV. Malapais stone home with private entrance. Seperate artist studio on property. Easy access from I-17.

Charming and peaceful place to stay!

My wife, dog and I had a great stay. We enjoyed the location, as it was out of town in a peacful village, yet only a short drive to the city of Flagstaff. Great for access to some of the nearby outdoor attractions. The trails through the woods behind the house on top of the hill are great for a walk or jog. The studio is extremely clean, well kept, and cute. It is well worth the price. The owners are very polite. To earn 5 stars I would recommend a few minor things: TV other than DVDs, an iron, larger space heater, and sturdier box spring or frame for the bed. It's probably also worth mentioning that the studio is not a separate house, rather a "basement" of the owner's house.

Very nice location just a few minutes from old Flagstaff. Quiet, dark, and piecefull. The hosts are two of the most friendly folks we have meet. We would highly recommend this for a couple or small group who just want to relax and enjoy nature.

This was the perfect location for our Flagstaff, Grand Canyon & Sedona adventures, we loved the location and its proximity to everything without being in town. The VRBO apt was very clean and had all the necessary kitchen tools for our stay of x2 nights, but could easily support a week-long (or longer) stay. The apt entrance is private and is a very quiet place. The property itself is on a quiet road in the woods south of Flag. The owner has a very easy hospitality and a generosity that was welcoming and respectful of our privacy and our stay. Thank you!

We had a great time during our visit to Flagstaff. The directions given by the owner were perfect. The property was very easy to get to. It's a very clean, quaint and cozy retreat. It was perfectly stocked with everything we needed. The property is surrounded by pine trees and tucked away ever so nicely in the middle of the woods. No need to search for hiking trails for they are in you're very own back yard. We are a family of 3 with 2 small dogs. We all had more than enough room. It's a 10 minute drive at most into town 25 minute drive to Snowbowl. The owner was absolutely wonderful to work with and we are looking forward to our next stay. We will definitely recommend to our family and friends.
