Pagosa Springs House Rental Photos and Description
Downtown, 2 Bedrooms + Bunk Room, 2 Full Baths (Sleeps 8)
This recently remodeled two bedroom, two bathroom home is truly one of a kind. It is both modern and rustic, tucked amongst the cottonwoods on McCabe Creek, just two blocks from downtown. Built in 1926, this home is an enduring piece of Pagosa's colorful cultural history and a great home base for exploring the amazing Upper San Juan Basin.
We provide all of the amenities that you expect to find in a vacation rental, plus some. Our fully stocked kitchen includes things like basic spices and oils, coffee filters, garbage bags, dish soap, dishwashing detergent etc. The dining table seats eight. Amenities for entertainment include flat screen television (with cable), a dvd player, iPod/iPhone charging/speaker dock w/ CD player, and there is wifi on site. We provide plenty of fluffy towels, and a well stocked laundry room too.
Two bedrooms with a queen bed each, and a bunk room with two full sized futons sleep a total of eight. There are two full baths. The master bath is a shower only with a very unique handmade copper shower pan, and the shared bathroom has a large soaking tub/shower combination and heated tile floors. The on demand water heater (endless hot water!) and excellent water pressure are definitely worthy of special mention.
The master bedroom has it's own door to the back patio, just steps from the large, private hot tub. You will be amazed at the vibrant night sky views, even from downtown. McCabe Creek gurgles happily, just 10 feet from the patio. There are lounge chairs and a full sized gas grill available for your use as well.
Sustainability was the goal in the remodel of this home. We sourced our materials locally, quite often reclaiming them ourselves, and we found creative ways to use materials that we already had. We installed primarily LED lighting and we buy renewable energy from our local electric co-op. None of these things will affect your experience in staying here, unless they matter to you. And in that case, you can rest easy knowing that you are supporting local Pagosa Springs businesses, energy conservation and mindful building practices. We also live in Pagosa and are available should you need us.

About Ohea Graham
We are long time Pagosa Springs residents and are thankful to live, work and play here. Steve has been an electrical contractor for the past 14 years and we have also remodeled several downtown properties in that time. These properties have become Incredible Pagosa Vacation Rentals, which we manage together. Our home is just a mile and a half away from the rentals and we are always available to answer questions or handle any situations that may arise.

Why Ohea Graham chose Pagosa Springs
We are particularly fond of downtown Pagosa Springs. This house came to us in very poor condition and ended up being one of the most fun and rewarding remodels we have ever completed. We have a house on N 8th Street and two on N 7th, also short term rentals - click the 'See all my rental listings' link below to learn more. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to restore this property, and to improve our neighborhood too.
What makes this house unique
Downtown Pagosa Springs is the place to be! This home is within walking or distance of restaurants, entertainment, three different hot springs spas, the San Juan River, Reservoir Hill with it's hiking and bike trails, festivals, and disc golf course, Town Park with it's festivals and events, coffee shops, a wonderful bakery, a craft beer brewery, an organic market and deli... It is a completely different experience from staying in subdivision outside of town. In the winter downtown is one of the closest places to Wolf Creek Ski Area that you can stay, saving 15 or 20 minutes of driving per day compared to staying in the Fairfield area.
