Your Own Art Gallery with 360 Degree Views!

This was my second time to rent this home, and I enjoyed it immensely. The home is beautifully decorated and has a great location just a few minutes from town. The hot tub is perfect to relax and take in the view.

5 ski buds from back east on our annual trip out west chose this house due to its 5 seperate bedrooms, hot tub and location by access road to Taos Ski Valley. Check out the Taos Brewery just down the road to a must see -the Rio Grande Bridge. Dinner at Lamberts in Taos was excellent. This house is NOT in town- which makes it ideal for avoiding all the congestion - 10 minute drive to Taos - for all the shops/galleries/spas etc. Actual rush hour in Taos about 3 pm. Ski shops all along the main drag although many shut down by 7pm.
Expect stars to consume your view at night and sunsets of varying colors. House was well equipped with the kitchen supplies to help you along and there are 2 supermarkets and 1 specialty food shop along the main drag to/thru Taos. We suggest you go to the 2 supermarkets for better pricing and bulk water, beer etc
All the linens you will need and comfy beds.
We went to Taos Ski Valley (20 min) and Red River and Angel Fire (1 hr). Early in the season you can get a 3 day ski pass at REI in Abq and a 1 time per resort punch card from Skinewmexico for about $160. each.
I have used VRBO for many years and the owner could not make the booking process or house rules instructions any easier. Interior shows family pictures which points to the pride he takes in this home. Two large TV/sitting areas help seperate those with differing tastes- tons of dvd's on hand.

As to Taos Ski Valley- if you have strong blue trail ability head straight up chair and bear to the far right chairs or go down the back bowl and head for the far left chair. If you love them steep and deep you will be in heaven with all the trails directly under center chair. Upper hiking in some bowls also. Great locker area at base - just follow the line painted on the walkway - food above and Ok to bring your own or sit outside.

I highly recommend this house and would rent it again without question - a very fair price in comparison to others. Good luck fellow travelers!

Wish we were still there. What a wonderful place for our family to gather. Eight of us showed up and made many memories. The house was great in all repects. The view was an awesome 360° of mountains and the lights of Taos could be seen at night.
