This newly redecorated beach house has a stunning living room with ocean views, that seats 8 very comfortably, has a gas fireplace, wall mounted 55 inch HDTV with full surround sound, DVD, DVR for recording shows, Netflix, stereo system and an iPod/iPhone docking station. The patio off the living room has spectacular ocean views + views of the Santa Monica and Malibu mountains. It's great for enjoying coffee, drinks or just stepping out for a sea breeze and look at the ocean. It seats 4 comfortably with plenty of standing room too.
The master bedroom is on the second floor and has a king bed, a small private walk out patio with slight ocean views (faces north), wall mounted HDTV with DVD player, DVR to record shows, Netflix, and stereo system with iPod/iPhone docking station and of course Wi-fi. The Bathroom has a free standing soaking tub, steam shower including with 2 shower heads (one is a rain shower), 2 sinks, and private toilet water closet.
Bedroom #2, also on the second floor, has a queen bed, walk-in closet, a very small patio (faces east), wall mounted HDTV, DVD, and stereo system with ipod/iphone docking station and Wi-Fi. The private en suite bathroom has shower/tub combo.
Bedroom #3 is on the first floor and has a queen bed, walk-in closet, full length wall mirror, an enclosed private patio with out door sofa and ottoman table, water element (turn on or off) and a Buddha statue. Very serene setting. No TV or stereo in this room but has Wi-Fi like the rest of the house. The private en-suite bathroom has shower/tub combo feature.
The house has newer front loading washing machine and dryer with counter and sink located on the first floor.
In the garage is a ping-pong table, dartboard, bikes, boogie boards and a surfboard. It fits 2 cars inside, 2 cars in the driveway, and once car parallel parked in front of the driver way (special display pass in dash required).
Tennis and basketball courts are 5 minute walk away, it's FREE, and in great condition. Volleyball on the beach, bikes or skates on the 26 mile beach strand, sailing, paddle boarding, surfing, boogie boarding, running, walking. What's not to love?!
The house is .3 miles from Pier Ave where most of the restaurants and bars and action is. So, nothing is more then a 5 minute walk. The world famous Comedy and Magic club where Jay Leno performs almost every Sunday, is just 2 blocks away!
Granny's Grocery and Deli (just 5 houses away) has awesome sandwiches and great for picking up an extra tomato or avocado for the home cooked meal, or some nice wine or a six pack of beer.
There are three movie theatres to choose from all within 5 miles, and Disneyland, Knots Berry Farm, Universal Studios and Magic Mountain are all within 1 hours drive.
Santa Monica, Venice, Beverly Hills, and Hollywood all within 30 - 45 minutes drive and LAX is only 5 - 6 miles away.
