Clean, comfortable 1 bedroom garden level suite with private entrance, patio, and garden. Close to everything Vancouver has to offer - shopping, restaurants, recreation and the Canada Line subway to downtown and the airport all a short walk away.
Four bus lines run very close, taking you directly to Downtown, UBC, Stanley Park, Granville Island, etc. If you arrive by car, there is free parking just outside the door.
BC's major health centres, Vancouver General Hospital, BC Cancer Agency, and BC Children's Hospital are all within 15 minutes walking distance.
This is a great location for families, with a nice park across the street with playground, fitness center, running track, and splash pool in summer. Free family oriented concerts every Thursday evening in the summer! Hillcrest Olympic Rec Center is also close by, with a large pool (indoor and outdoor), skating rink, library, etc.
Local shopping and restaurants are only 500m away, in Cambie Village. Other shopping districts are also within just a few km: Main Street, South Granville, Granville Island, and the large Oakridge Mall.
When you are not out in the city, enjoy the peaceful private patio with a view of the park and mountains!
The apartment is very quiet and private, with a queen size bed in the bedroom and a sofa in the sitting room that converts to a second queen-sized bed. A single mattress or a portable crib can be supplied on request. The bathroom has grab bars installed in the bath tub, making access easy and safe. Clean linens and towels are provided, and housekeeping services during the stay are available if desired. Guests also have free access to a shared laundry room.

We found the host, Jamie, to be very friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean, beds very comfortable and provided all necessary comforts of home. The view from the garden patio was beautiful, overlooking a park out to the mountains. The location was in a lovely quiet tree lined street and is an easy walk to shops, transport & parks.
