5 NIGHT MIN. LATE SPRING TO SEPTEMBER 1ST, THEN 3 NIGHT MINIMUM BEGINS.
Located in Traverse City Michigan, this lovely 3 yr. new Lodge sits on a private 1 acre lot with 100 ft. of sandy beach frontage on beautiful High Lake, a peaceful 50 acre lake with very low water traffic but much natural beauty including the wild life and water fowl. Even the Bald Eagles nest here. Located only 4 miles from the Cherry Capital Airport and just 7-9 miles from the beautiful East & West Grand Traverse Bays but in the winter you can snowmobile, cross country ski, snowshoe or ice fish right from the Lodge, only ¼ mile to groomed trails,(maps are available), and in the summer the lake is wonderful for any water sport.
This 2 bdrm 2.3 bath 3,500 sq.ft. rustic beach Lodge can easily accommodate 2-3 families sleeping up to 16, 7 in the upper level and up to 9 in the lower walk out level. 2 queen beds, 1 queen futon, one couch and 4 TV upstairs and 3 double futons, and 4 twin size roll away beds in the lower walk out level as well as a game room with a pool table, bumper pool table, dart board, large flat screen TV and large card table as well as other tables and chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped and a 2nd refrigerator is also available, both have ice makers, along with a beverage cooler located in the lower level. All towels, linens, blankets, soaps and some paper products are provided for your use as well as a washer and dryer on the main level. The upper deck, 50’x16’, has built in benches and other deck furniture for your comfort as well as a gas grill. Great swimming in the summer with 2 docks, a raft, paddle boat, and fire pit for your use. Also 1 metal fishing boat, one small boat motor can be rented and it comes with 1 tank of gas. Kayaks and a paddle board are available at an extra charge and now a pontoon boat may be available if prior arrangements are made. There is a picnic table, charcoal grill, and a fire pit for beach activities. Firewood is available at an extra charge and must be ordered a few days in advance of your arrival. A list of other activities and interesting places to visit (from a to z ) and the addresses, phone #’s and maps for them will be available at the Lodge. There is a restaurant/pizza (with delivery), country store/gas station and fire and rescue just ½ mile away on the opposite side of the lake. SORRY! NO PETS AND NO SMOKING!!

Don’t forget these events!!!
The National Cherry Festival annually every July! In 2014 the festival starts July 5th and ends July 12th. The Blue Angels are scheduled to be here. They are here for this festival every other year for the air show. They have their 1st practice on July 4th.
Traverse City has boasted being titled as the 'Cherry Capital of the World' and this Festival is known worldwide. 1 week of many wonderful activities for young and old, large carnival, parades, and fireworks the last day!
The Red Wings Training Camp is in September each year!
The Cherry Capital Winter Wow Festival annually in February every President’s Day weekend. Again many activities and fireworks. A list/schedule will be available.
Traverse City and the Grand Traverse area are widely known for winter activities and great trails for cross country skiing(Vasa trl.) snowmobiling and snowshoeing.

We built the Lodge on our family owned property where we grew up and enjoyed a wonderful childhood. You can't find a nicer lake or beach area for swimming and relaxing. We hope everyone that vacations here has a wonderful time, makes wonderful family treasured memories and hopefully returns every year to add to those treasured memories!
