This 2 bdrm 2.3 bath 3,500 sq.ft. rustic beach Lodge can easily accommodate 2 families sleeping up to 17, 7 in the upper level and up to 10 in the lower walk out level. 2 queen beds, 1 queen futon, one couch and 4 TV upstairs and 2 double futons, 1 queen fold out couch and rollways in the lower walk out level as well as a game room with a pool table, bumper pool table, dart board, large flat screen TV and large card table as well as other tables and chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped and a 2nd refrigerator is also available, both have ice makers, along with a beverage cooler located in the lower level. All towels, linens, blankets, soaps and some paper products are provided for your use as well as a washer and dryer on the main level. The upper deck, 50’x16’, has built in benches and other deck furniture for your comfort as well as a charcoal grill. Great swimming in the summer with 2 docks, a raft, water trampoline and paddle boat for your use. Also a fishing boat and kayaks are available at an extra charge. There is a fire pit, grill, picnic tables and horse shoe area for beach activities. A list of other activities and interesting places to visit (from a to z ) and the addresses, phone #’s and maps for them will be available at the Lodge. There is a restaurant/pizza (with delivery), country store/gas station and fire and rescue just ½ mile away on the opposite side of the lake. SORRY! NO PETS AND NO SMOKING!!

The National Cherry Festival annually every July!(NOTE: this year the festival is June 29-July6, 2013.)

This year the Cherry Festival Concerts include Styx, Foreigner and Montgomery Gentry!!! The Blue Angels are usually here for this festival every other year for the air show, they will be here in 2014. Traverse City has boasted being titled as the 'Cherry Capital of the World' and this Festival is known worldwide. 1 week of many wonderful activities for young and old, large carnival, parades, and fireworks the last day!

The Cherry Capital Winter Wow Festival annually in February every President’s Day weekend. Again many activities and fireworks. A list/schedule will be available.

Traverse City and the Grand Traverse area are widely known for winter activities and great trails for cross country skiing(Vasa trl.) snowmobiling and snowshoeing.
