I live in San Francisco and Cedar Street is our family estate. This 1880's Georgian was lovingly restored four years ago to serve numerous family relatives while visiting Chicago. We offer our beautiful chic suites when not in town. Walk to Oak Beach, Rush Street nightlife and Magnificent Mile shopping.

Guestbook comments from the owner
A group of adults stayed at the 3rd floor flat for a 3-day w/e. We wanted to stay together b/c we were in town for an athletic competition and wanted to be able to stay together and prepare healthy meals in a kitchen. We really enjoyed our experience - the flat was well-maintained and well-furnished (kitchen was newly remodeled). Having 2 bathrooms was also nice. I would definitely recommend this flat for 2 couples traveling together. The kitchen is a narrower galley kitchen. There is an eat-in kitchen and dining table area. We are also pleasantly surprised we were able to park for free in the back of the building (2 spots for a few units). We even washed a load of laundry in the washer/dryer (not coin-operated) located on the first floor. The location is very convenient to Michigan Avenue and Rush St...walking distance to many downtown attractions. The block was very quite and safe. Overall, I would definitely rent at this location again and from the same owner, Michael. He was easy to contact and answered all my questions timely.
