Our property is located 15 minutes west of East Glacier Park, Mt on US Hwy 2. It encompasses 58 acres of private property nestled between the southern tip of Glacier National Park to the north and the US Forest Service to the South.
Our log home has recently been updated with new kitchen and bathroom cabinets, new flooring and new paint and rustic trimwork throughout the entire home. The home has 3 bedrooms upstairs with sinks and vanities in 2 of the bedrooms. The upstairs has 1 bathroom with toilet and walk-in shower. The downstairs has 1 bedroom with queen bed and 1 bathroom with vanity, toilet and walk-in shower.
Hank and Roxy Zomer live in Conrad, Montana located 100 miles to the southeast of Glacier National Park on the agricuture plains. Roxy Zomer is a native of Montana, born and rasied in Conrad. Hank Zomer was born in South Dakota and has lived in Montana all of his adult life. Hank and Roxy are the owners and operators of Zomer Truck Sales, a retail semi truck sales business in Conrad, Montana, The Zomers have been married for 30 years. They have 3 children, Crystal, Kelsey, and Austin. This family photo was taken in the front yard of our mountain property.

The Zomer family has alway enjoyed the Glaicer Park area as a retreat from their busy family routine throughout the years. They have spent their annual summer vacations doing water sports on the area lakes and touring Glacier National Park with their Harley Davidson. In winter months, the Zomer family loves to snow ski and snowmoble in the local area. In 2004 the Zomers had the unique opportunity to purchase this prime piece of real estate consisting of 58 acres of private land nestled between Glacier National park and the US Forest Service. Also included on our property is Glacier Meadow RV Park. The RV park is located down in the meadow closer to the highway. The RV park consists of 45 RV and tent sites along with a shower house, laundry, basketball court, shuffleboard, playground and large pavilion with fireplace. The log home is located on the highest point of our property 1000 feet away from the rv park in a private and secluded area overlooking the meadow. You are sure to find privacy, peace and quiet here to enjoy the scenic views that dominate our property. Since we personally use our place more often in the winter months to partake in snow sports, we have decided to share our wonderful setting with summer guests in the years ahead. We know you will enjoy it as much as we have.
We can never seem to get enough of the beautiful veiws and scenery that surrounds this secluded mountain log home along with its peaceful atmosphere. It is our belief you will agree.
After spending your days taking in all the activities Montana's great outdoors have to offer, you can unwind by relaxing on the deck of our log home while taking in the magnificent views of Glacier National Park and its surroundings while hummingbirds hover overhead. Take a stroll through our 58 acre private setting and scope out dozens of different species of wild flowers and take in the fresh scent of the forest. On occasion you will spot elk, deer or a moose peacefully wandering in the meadow (most often in June and early July). Spend time touring Glacier National Park with your own vehicle or take the historical Red Bus guided tour over the Going To The Sun Highway. The Red Bus Tour stops at Glacier Meadows every day. We are one of two stops on the south side of the park. The famous goat lick, stair step falls and the Middle Fork of the Flathead River are just minutes from our place (perfect for fishing, floating and white water rafting enthusiasts). Be sure to stop at the Isack Walton Inn, a historic railway depot. Skyland Road, located just 3 miles away, lends way to a scenic 2-3 hour drive deep into the US Forest Service. You can spend your afternoons fishing in one of many local streams, golfing at East Glacier Golf Course or hiking into Glacier Park, with Olie Creek trail head located just across the road from Glacier Meadows! Take an evening walk along Giefer Creek through the Slippery Bill development all the way back to Zip's Cabin. Spend your nights cozied up by the fire and drift off to sleep in the comfort of the rustic log cabin to the sounds of wolves howling in the distance.
