Photos and Description of the Falkau vacation house rental

Our inviting vacation house, neighbouring 5 other vacation houses, is located in a 7000 m² large park, at the end of the access street (dead-end street). The house with comfortable ambient accommodates 6 people. Our house is ideal for families, as children can play in the park, undisturbed by cars. Upon request, we can put a children bed at your disposal. Our lovely decorated, light living room also has a dining corner. From there, there are a few stairs to our original studio underneath the roof, where there is a charming atmosphere for you to sleep. Our young guests enjoy sleeping there very much. On our large sunny terrace you can just sit and forget about the daily routine. You can also take wonderful walks and extended hiking trails in Schwarzwald. In the winter, there is a ski bus on Feldberg, ca. 300 m away from the park.

Falkau is part of the Feldberg community, at an altitude of 900-1100 m, and very suitable for a comfortable vacation. In the summertime, our park is a starting point for fantastic hiking tours in Schwarzwald or for challenging trips for old and young. The Europapark Rust, the Schwarzwaldpark Löffingen, the flower island Mainau by Lake Constance, or the center of Constance are just a few examples of trip destinations. On location you will find a big children playground with mini-golf course, as well as a tennis court. Schluchsee, Titisee and Feldberg can be reached in just a few minutes by car. In Feldberg you can find more than 50 km ski slopes for all levels of proficiency. There are possibilities for cross-country ski runners as well, as there are many marked cross-country ski runs. With your visitor’s card, which you receive at the entrance in the park, you can use the public transportation for free in 6 transport networks.

  • All the prices are valid for 2 people. Each further person needs to pay 10 Euro a day. Children under the age of 6 pay 5 Euro a day. In the low price weeks, there price for a stay shorter than 1 week equals the price for the low season. For stays shorter than 1 week, there is a short stay surcharge of 40 Euro.
  • Additional costs such as electricity, water, heating, linen, towels, garage, final cleaning are included in the rental rates. With the visitor’s tax, which you have to pay at the entrance in the park, you can use the public transportation in 6 transport networks.

Ski bus: With the free ski bus (the bus station is 300 m from our house), you can reach the skiing region on Feldberg, with 28 ski lifts and lots of snow. A small lift is located ca. 800 m from our house and can be easily reached in foot. Unfortunately, it only works during the school breaks and during the weekends.

Wir sind eine Woche bei Ferienpark Neumatte am Juli 2008 verpassen (Entschuldigung, wenn mein Deutsch schwach ist, wir sind Englisch ! Und mein Computer hat keinen Umlaut !). Das Haus war sauber, gepflegt und bequem, mit einem kleinen Garten und gute Aussichten. Der Hausmeister und seine Frau waren sehr hilfsbereit (und sprach Englisch, nutzlich fur uns). Es gibt einen Supermarkt in der Nahe, und vielen Attraktionen, besonders Titisee und Feldberg, aber auch kleine Spielplatze und ein gutes Museum fur die Kinder (wir haben zwei Jungen, 4 und 8 Jahre). Dieser Urlaub hat uns sehr viel gefallen.

Ferienwohnung war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Alles Notwendige war vorhanden und in gutem Zustand. Vom Vermieter waren wir gut informiert und fanden den Weg in die Anlage ohne Probleme. Die Verwalter waren sehr nett und gaben gut Anregungen. Da die Anlage sehr abgeschieden ist, finde ich es ist wichtig zu wissen, dass man zur Bahn einen weiten Weg zu Fuß gehen muß. Die Busse fuhren bei unserem Aufenthalt nicht mehr. Fahrräder währen da super gewesen! Für alle die gern wandern und keinen Trubel wünschen ist es ein super Ort zum entspannen. Zu den Restaurants vor Ort kann ich keine Angaben machen da wir unterwegs speisen waren.
