1 bedroom apartment sleeps 2 in Central Tokyo near all the amenities
Cosy apartment in a very secure and elegant block with central location. The whole area is full of restaurants, cafés, bars, shops all within walking distance. The flat has an open-plan design, cleverly divided into living area, dining area with connected kitchen and bedroom area, plus separate bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. Big windows make the flat bright and airy. There are many options if you feel like a good stroll, Imperial Palace only a stone's throw away, very attractive Hinokicho-Park by the brand new Tokyo Midtown complex which is only 5 minutes walk away, and to walk around surrounding back streets is a sheer joy with little surprises in every corner. Our apartment is fully equipped with the latest technology, i.e. Wi-Fi internet, 32' flat screen TV with cable TV, automatic bath filler and bathroom air-conditioner + drier, washlet toilet with heated seat, answer phone with video screen monitor for the front door etc. An enjoyable and fulfilling stay is guaranteed here!

My 10 year old son and I stayed here for a week on our spring break. I lived in Tokyo in the late 90's so I wanted to show it to my son. I spent significant time scrutinizing where the best place to stay was at a reasonable cost. I must say I feel so lucky to have found it and I would stay here again in a heartbeat! If you are on the fence, just book it! The location cannot be beat as it is central to everything. The apartment is spotless and has everything one could possibly need. The owner was very easy to deal with, overseas payment not a problem and quickly refunded the security deposit. The apartment is sunny and decorated very tastefully. I read prior reviews and brought a night mask to combat the early sunrise and had no issues with sleeping in. Thank you Biei for helping us create wonderful memories by sharing your apartment - my son especially loved the modern technology of the toilet and bath! We had a wonderful time!!

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for posting this review! It gives us some reassurance to receive such a feedback from somebody who have already experienced Tokyo living. It was pleasure meeting you both. All the best , Biei
The apartment contains everything that you could need and although quite modern still gives the homely feeling you don't get in a hotel. The owners were warm & welcoming and left behind some helpful information for the surrounding areas and Tokyo. The railway station is a very short walk away.

Owner's Response: Thank you for posting your feedback. Hope you get a taste of Tokyo although it was a short stay. Hopefully to see you again some time! Thank you for staying and best wishes to both of you. Biei
On arrival we met our host Biei who was very warm and welcoming just like her apartment. We have never stayed anywhere quite like it. The information in her manual is great. All the little touches around the flat makes you feel like you;ve not left home. There is even a toolbox which we used as we needed a screwdriver to repair our damaged luggage (you wouldn't get that in a hotel room). Everything is near to hand. metro is 5 mins away and the shops and local restaurants only a couple of minutes walk. There is a new Indian restaurant just round the corner called Spice, it is well worth a visit, food and service was excellent. We were here for 12 days and believe me it was not long enough. What a wonderful place this is to visit and you will be hard pushed to find anything better than this little haven. We would love to return someday. Thank you Biei

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your very warm and enthusiastic review, greatly appreciated. I'm so glad that our toolbox became handy! I've been interested in that Indian restaurant for some time, but so far no opportunity, but I'll definitely try them very soon, thank you for leaving their card with the directions which will be very helpful for our future guests. Hope to see you both sometime again, and thank you again for taking your time for this review. Biei
My wife and I were visting Tokyo for the first time last month. I had done research on which area of Tokyo to stay in, but it seemed there were pros and cons to a number of areas. So I gambled on this apartment. And we won! The apartment is in an excellent location; it has a real neighbourhood feel to it. It's an easy taxi ride from Tokyo Station, after taking the N'ex train from Narita (as well as buying Suica card). Make sure you print out the map you will receive with Kanji characters, as taxi drivers don't read English. The apartment is as described and is super-clean. The photos bring a smile to my face, recalling our enjoyable time in Tokyo. The bed is in a small alcove off the living/dining area. It's wonderfully comfortable as are the pillows. There is a futon couch in the living area, where you could watch TV (in English BBC or sports) or listen to music. There is a binder with lots of tourist information and recommendations (and instruction guides) on the coffee table. There is a big table in the dining area to eat at and drop your "stuff" on. The kitchen has a sink, stove, fridge and microwave, perfect for take-out. The bathroom was three separate rooms, one for the toilet, one for the sink and washer and one for the bathtub/shower/drying room! We did some hand laundry and the drying room really works! Toilets in Japan are a marvel of science and this one has "bells-and-whistles", but it still works as a basic toilet. It's an experience to try some of the features. When you come in, you take off your shoes, as there is a small step up with slippers to wear in the apartment. The apartment is in a terrific neighbourhood, close to several subway stops of different lines, depending how far you want to walk. There are two 24 hour grocery stores within walking distance, including Precce's in Tokyo Midtown, where there is also a Dean and Deluca, and several wonderful pastry shops and boulangeries. This is perfectly described as a pied-à-terre. And Biei is a wonderful host describing everything in the apartment and the area. So when you first arrive and push the buzzer, put on your best smile, as she can see you!

Tourists without a Car,
Owner's Response: Your review made me smile, and you certainly had your best smile when you pressed the doorbell! Thank you for posting this review, I am very happy to know our place made a contribution to your enjoyable stay in Tokyo, and glad to hear you found Tokyo Midtown complex as it's packed with wonderful food shops. Hope your grand Japan tour was also a successful one.
Some time ago - my wife and I have been to this apartment in April 2012 (the calendar doesn't let me choose the real date) for 5 weeks - and we loved it very much. Due to some circumstances I never found the time to give a review. Other reviews here are very detailed, and all of them are really good so there is almost nothing left to say for me. It is a quiet and well appointed apartment, almost in the middle of beautiful Tokyo, with a lot of places around you can reach by a few minutes walk. Surrounded by some of the best super markets I've seen so far, some amazing restaurants and close to a central metro station it has everything one could wish for and what's even more - it is most comfortable, cuddly and everything just like a home! Contract and payment went perfectly well, special thanks to our host Biei, who proved to be a very friendly and reliable person.

Owner's Response: How are you both? Thank you for your sincere review Andre. It is a comfortable pied-a-terre I think, but I'm really glad you could still recall your few weeks stay in our apartment with such a positive feel, it is a big plus that in the nearby Tokyo Midtown Park (I'm sure you strolled around a few times) you could enjoy uninterrupted sky which is a bit unusual for the central Tokyo. I really hope you could come back and stay again. Thank you again and my very best wishes, Biei
The property is located in Akasaka, Minato-ku area. This is a historic well established business & entertainment district containing many notable newly opened successful shopping complexes like Akasaka Sacas, Tokyo Midtown and Roppongi Hills. Akasaka is surrounded by a great choice of eateries from all over the world, plenty of cafés and for those who want to enjoy late night partying / drinking, there are numerous bars in all sorts of styles. There is plenty of choice for shopping in Akasaka / Roppongi area, also Harajuku / Omotesando and Ginza areas are a short journey away by Tokyo Metro. Food shops and 24 hours open convenience stores are dotted around to cater for all your needs. The Imperial Palace is only 5 min. by Metro. This is a perfectly situated apartment for maximizing your exploration of Tokyo. Remember, Tokyo is bigger than you think, so it is very important to have the right location as your base and a good pair of shoes.
