SPECIAL RATES for 2-3mth bookings!($2500-$3000/mth) Bright & nearly new: this top floor unit enjoys views to airport (YYJ) and beyond to the mountains of the Southern Cowichan Valley. This is a true 'turn-key' operation with all the basics in place, including salt, pepper, sugar, flour, paper toweling, etc. (Replace what you use with same product/brand, please.)
This west-facing corner unit is best suited to a couple who desire a quiet retreat in downtown Sidney and who may want to entertain the occasional overnight guest. High ceilings and large windows make it appear to be larger than it's modest 875 sq. ft. This apartment was purchased from the builder in December 2012 and remains a non-smoking and non-pet environment.
A sun-shade has been installed on the large window in the main room to minimize summer sun rays while allowing visibility (and improve TV viewing). A contemporary electric fireplace adds ambiance and warmth when needed or just use of the fan, without heat, to circulate air in summer. Vertical blinds are installed on windows in the bedrooms. For privacy, the bedrooms are separated by the main room with one on the north side, and the 2nd on the west side. The bathrooms are compact with bath-shower combos. Closet space is minimal and there is no extra storage available. (Pack accordingly). An in-suite laundry duo is a feisty little 2'some that will scream at you when finished it's cycle, as will the microwave. There are 2 garden-gnome sized decks off the main room. Sorry, no BBQ.
Re: auto & bicycle
There is a dedicated parking stall in the secured ground level garage, and a common (locked) bicycle room.
The heating is electric; the wi-fi is reliable; the TV package is generous; and the personal video recorder ensures no missed popular shows, or golf games, regardless of where you may be.
Phyllis and Tom are seasonal residents in BC. They like to follow the golf ball in winter, return to Yukon in summer and enjoy fall & spring in Sidney.
Phyllis purchased this apartment in 2012
The Watermark was a new and seemingly well-built building. This unit/apartment's layout is an open concept design with high ceilings and large windows ... and located in downtown Sidney, close to all of one's daily required amenities.
Convenience of location in this delightfully refreshing village by the sea.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this condo in the heart of Sidney. It was bright and sunny with a skylight and high windows in the living room. Very fresh and clean with comfortable beds. Biking and walking trails were amazing, and only minutes away. We found some Thai, seafood, and Mexican restaurants nearby which were hidden gems, although the kitchen facility allows full access for cooking. Had a great time perusing the shops along Beacon ave, especially the bakeries! Although Sidney is a quieter destination, Victoria is not far away for more shopping and restaurants. Definitely a great place to stay and take in the sights and sounds of south Vancouver Islands. Owners were very personable and accommodating. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
A very nicely-appointed condo, in the heart of beautiful Sidney and so close to the wonderful walkways along the seashore. So great to be able to walk to interesting stores, bookshops, and excellent restaurants. The condo is very comfortable and cosy and the beds are super comfortable.
Newer (2012) Condo apartment in downtown Sidney, 1 block to main street shops and restaurants on Beacon Avenue and 4 blocks to the Oceanside walking paths. Most daily amenities within walking distance.

Sidney is known as a 'book' town for historical, rare and contemporary works.
