This west-facing corner unit is best suited to a couple who desire a quiet retreat in downtown Sidney and who may want to entertain the occasional overnight guest. High ceilings and large windows make it appear to be larger than it's modest 875 sq. ft. This apartment was purchased from the builder in December 2012 and remains a non-smoking and non-pet environment.
A sun-shade has been installed on the large window in the main room to minimize summer sun rays while allowing visibility (and improve TV viewing). A contemporary electric fireplace adds ambiance and warmth when needed or just use of the fan, without heat, to circulate air in summer. Vertical blinds are installed on windows in the bedrooms. For privacy, the bedrooms are separated by the main room with one on the north side, and the 2nd on the west side. The bathrooms are compact with bath-shower combos. Closet space is minimal and there is no extra storage available. (Pack accordingly). An in-suite laundry duo is a feisty little 2'some that will scream at you when finished it's cycle, as will the microwave. There are 2 garden-gnome sized decks off the main room. Sorry, no BBQ.

There is a dedicated parking stall in the secured ground level garage, and a common (locked) bicycle room.
The heating is electric; the wi-fi is reliable; the TV package is generous; and the personal video recorder ensures no missed popular shows, or golf games, regardless of where you may be.

Phyllis and Tom are seasonal residents and have just become permanent residents in BC. They like to follow the golf ball in winter, return to Whitehorse in Yukon in summer and enjoy fall & spring in Sidney.
The Watermark was a new and seemingly well-built building. This unit/apartment's layout is an open concept design with high ceilings and large windows ... and located in downtown Sidney, close to all of one's daily required amenities.
