Be Inside But Part Of The Ocean, Beach, Canyon & Mountains

With beds for 10 or 11 people and a great room walled around with glass, two of three bedrooms opening to the huge deck and the ocean-view spa, you'll be watching wildlife and be able to walk to the beach, or drive & park by the sand. We have 2 queen bedrooms, twins in the third, and a loft with 5 twins, dormitory style, plus 2.5 bathrooms, a 2 car garage with laundry, fully-equipped kitchen w/ spices, gas barbecue, wood fireplace with oak wood furnished, Dish Satellite TV and internet (firewire for your laptop provided), stereo w/ lots of CDs, books, videos, games, etc. All linens provided. We just ask that you clean and put away the dishes you use and put the used linens on the washing machine when you leave.
About Diane Heinzer

Jon & Diane built their home in 1971 when their boys were 10 and 13. With a ladder to a loft, one bedroom and two bathrooms, they entertained their friends and friends of their kids through college. But when grand kids came along, they expanded it to accommodate three couples with kids in the loft. They have lived at Irish Beach longer than in any other home. They love sharing it with others, some of whom have been renting since they were children, and now have children of their own.

Why Diane Heinzer chose Irish Beach

They bought the lot in the fog, but knew the 6 miles of beach was fabulous, and the gated entry to the beach road would keep it pristine as it has. Amazed to see the lighthouse when they returned a month later, the beauty of the setting captured them and still holds them here.

What makes this house unique

Each day is unique, living close to nature and with all the wildlife, changing sea and sky and beach, always different and the stars at night putting everything in perspective. The fabulous restaurants and wineries and artists and shops and scenic Hwy 1 help too.

Nearest Golf : Sea Ranch or Little River at 25 Miles
Nearest Restaurant : Bridget Dolan's or Queenie's at 8 Miles
Car: necessary

Less than an hour's drive are Gualala, Elk, Mendocino, and Ft. Bragg, with a wonderful botanical garden, shopping, deep sea fishing and whale watching trips, the Skunk Train going through the redwoods, and four state parks for hiking and sea kayaking.
