Magical, Peaceful, and a Must-See-to-Believe-Home
Owners: Wonderful, pleasant, and easy to talk to and work with. I didn’t get to meet them as both of were out of town. But they made sure I had keys to the home, answered all my dumb questions, and went out of their way to make me feel at home when I got there ( I was a slightly panicked-all-must-be-perfect-Mother-of-the-Groom).
Home: Beautiful, spacious, very clean, and delightful home.
Location: We were in town for a wedding nearby--the perfect home for us. If you need tranquility from the hustle and bustle of Central Florida, this is the ideal home to stay for a weekend.
Price: Worth every dime and affordable to the average income family.
Amenities: I threw an impromptu dinner for over 20 guests--this home had the space and the amenities to accommodate the dinner.
Parking: Parking at the home was enough for 3 cars.
Street: It's a minor thoroughfare--meaning, don't park in the street. Traffic comes through there.
Internet: Easy instructions to connect to the internet (both for Windows or Mac laptops)
Stores Nearby: Publix, Wal-Mart, and major gas stations less than 5 miles away.
Lawn: Immaculately maintained. Very green, very Florida.
Bedding: Clean, fresh, with additional sheets and blankets.
Bathroom Amenities: Soap, hair dryer, toilet paper, and paper towels provided. Plenty of bath towels for use.
Kitchen Amenities: Coffee pot with coffee provided (Koenig); plenty of dishes and silverware for about 20 guests; lots of storage containers to store food; cutting board, kitchen knives, can opener, microwave, trash can, garbage disposal, stove and oven, and many more. They have everything you need to make dinner.
Home Temperature: Adjustable and very efficient.
Laundry: Washer & Dryer available for use.
Surprises: A beautiful pool area with a covered picnic area for about 10 people; beautiful garden; comfortable screened porch for about 5 people to sit and talk; home accommodates the disabled--the master shower is designed for a person to wheel in and take a shower.
What you should know: Don’t let the size of the home deceive you. I was worried 2 bedrooms wasn’t enough to accommodate the total of 6 guests that were going to stay each night. There is PLENTY OF ROOM! I hosted a dinner there and NO one was uncomfortable. There was space in the living room, screened porch, pool area, and dining area. It’s a must see to believe!
NOTE: Thank you for allowing us to use your lovely home!
