A 3 bedroom mews house sleeping 6 people, a 10 minute walk from Princes Street

This house has been created from a former stables block and therefore offers something a little different. The location is great being on a quiet street in the city centre a 10 minute walk from Princes Street and is just round the corner from the Edinburgh International Conference Centre and Haymarket train station.

The accommodation comprises a superb living/dining room with exposed timber beams, 2 double bedrooms, one with en suite bathroom, 1 single bedroom (with additional futon bed) and a shower room and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine. The property comes with wi-fi Internet access. For parking the is a car park in the next street, less than a 5 minute walk away. Alternatively free on-street parking is a 20 minute walk away.

CHARMING AS ADVERTISED

This house was just what we hoped to find - 3 bedrooms/2 baths, good location, and a place that a local would call home. My husband and I were traveling with our two adult sons - which turned out to be a blessing when it came to hauling luggage up the spiral staircase! (That was our fault - we were so happy with everything else we totally forgot about getting our stuff up to the living area!). Francoise was the perfect host - he met us upon our arrival, gave us the tour, and explained the utilities, Wi-Fi, etc. He had tons of information available on the area with shopping, restaurant, and attraction suggestions.
We had no problems walking or using public transportation to get around. Two amazing restaurants within walking distance are La Piazza and A Room in the West End. City of the Dead tours is an absolute must! We would definitely stay there again if we are lucky enough to return.

WONDERFUL APARTMENT CLOSE TO EVERYTHING!

This was the perfect place to stay on our first trip to Scotland! We brought the whole family - 6 adults total - and there was room for everyone. The location couldn't have been better for access to Old Town, New Town and the Royal Mile. We walked everywhere we wanted to go and only used transportation to visit the Highlands and Borders. Staying in the apartment made us feel part of the neighborhood and we took full advantage of the proximity to small pubs and shops to get to know the area.Francois was great and gave us some ideas to get us started exploring the city, and we took it from there. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone wishing to feel a part of Edinburgh while they're there.

FANTASTIC APARTMENT IN A GREAT LOCATION

The apartment is in a great location 15 minutes walk from the centre and the local supermarket is only 5 minutes walk. Renting the apartment was easy and our host Francois was very helpful in answering any questions we had prior to the holiday and provided helpful advice on arrival.

The apartment was very clean, spacious and comfortable with good facilities and plenty of storage space. Although the 3rd bedroom is downstairs away from the other rooms this was fine for us.

We had a lovely evenings out and great food at both Gennaro’s Italian restaurant and the Petit Paris French Restaurant, (both Grassmarket). For traditional Scottish food we ate a couple of times at the Royal McGregor (Royal Mile).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will hopefully get chance to return next year.

FANTASTIC SPACE, GREAT LOCATION.

Great social space with living and dining areas together. Kitchen was very well equiped. All rooms were good size. Great decor, modern and light.

Good takeaways nearby if you want to bring food in, but also very central for going out.

Only downsides - glass wall in main bedroom meant light from livingroom streamed in - only a problem if you're in bed first. Full length mirror, additional mirrors and additional pillows required please.

Would definitely stay again.

The last full-length mirror fell down and broke but I have now replaced this and some additional pillows have been delivered. I will look to see if we can put up a curtain here to prevent the light coming into the bedroom.

El apartamento tiene una genial ubicación para visitar la ciudad (10 minutos andando a Princcess Street) y todas las facilidades que se pueden necesitar. La zona es tranquila y tiene cerca tanto bares como supermercados y paradas de autobús (incluída la línea que va al aeropuerto).
Por poner un pero tuvimos algunos problemas de comunicación con Francois, pero al final logramos aclarar el malentendido. No obstante le recomendaría cuidar más ese detalle, pues perdimos unas horas que son preciosas cuando viajas.

The location is excellent being just a 5 minute walk from Haymarket Train Station and a 10 minute walk from Princes Street. The Airlink bus from Edinburgh Airport stops at Haymarket so arriving here by public transport could not be much easier. The International Conference Centre is a 2 minute walk away and there are a host of good restaurants in the area. Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile are about a 15 minute walk away.
