Complete house: Charming 1 bedroom home with living room, full bath and kitchen.

The spacious kitchen has bar seating with a beautiful counter and 4 stools.

Oven, microwave, coffee maker, coffee, toaster, ice maker and dishes are provided.

A high quality lcd / led television with hd cable tv gives you access to entertainment and news during your stay.

The bathroom is large with soaps, lotion and plush towels. High quality bedding and furnishings are also included.

The futon in the living room folds out for extra sleeping space. Extra sheets and blankets are available.

Located right off the 110 / 134 freeways and walking distance to the metro gold line, it is a short drive to downtown la, downtown glendale, burbank studios, downtown pasadena and the rose bowl. You will not be stuck in major commute traffic to get to these locations.

The outdoor space is fantastic: off street parking is in the front of the house. There is a courtyard in the back with a lawn and trees with access to a 2nd unit and a shared laundry room. An area in the front yard can be conveniently used as an outdoor smoking space.

This is a very conveniently located, comfortable, private space.

Highland park is booming with new restaurants, bars and shops. This is a very exciting part of los angeles.

About owner/manager

Your host, Mark is a native San Franciscan who recently relocated to Los Angeles to pursue his interests in bicycling in the sunny Southern California climate. Mark also enjoys the amazing museums, clubs and restaurants the area has to offer.

He also enjoys going for hikes up in the Angeles Crest and visiting the beautiful beaches along the coast.

Auberge Amerante is conveniently located 3 miles from the Rose Bowl, 2 miles from Old Town Pasadena and a host of other Los Angeles hot spots. In addition to being incredibly conveniently located, the Highland Park neighborhood is buzzing with new coffee shops, restaurants and clubs.

What makes this house unique

The property is perched part way up a hill in a very private and totally quiet location. The wild parrots of Los Angeles come in the morning and are just amazing. The location is absolutely charming.

First stay - Highly Recommend

This is my first ... stay and Mark was able to accommodate me on very short notice. He is incredibly responsive and helpful, contacting me via phone to provide instructions and information prior to my check-in. Mark's guest house is exceptionally clean, modern, and comfortable with contemporary style furniture and new appliances. Additionally, it is quiet and private in a safe neighborhood. I appreciated amenities such as off-street parking and cable tv. This was a luxurious respite and great hotel-alternative during my condo repairs. Highly recommend. Thank you, Mark!

I didn't get a chance to actually meet and talk to Mark, but he took me in on short notice, and he was very responsive to my communication. The place was great. It had everything you'd need for a short stay. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic place and mark is great. He is very responsive and replied to any messages immediately. He made himself available and accessible but was not intrusive at all. The guest house is very tasteful and mark has thought of everything to make your stay the BEST. Thoughtful host and a lovely place. Highly reccomend. Hope to stay again when back in the LA area. Thanks mark!

The Amerante Guest house is my home away from home when I am in LA. Mark is a friendly and helpful host, but also leaves his guests with plenty of privacy. This was my third visit, and I very much enjoy being here in rain or shine.
