Photos and Description of the Great Rissington vacation cottage rental
Sleeps up to 7. 4 bedroom/ 2 bathroom +shower room

Built around 1840, the cottage is on a dead end country road, so no traffic. Totally renovated in 2010 as a country retreat for its owner, it boasts modern central heating, new bathrooms, handmade curtains and a new kitchen equipped to the highest standard. THE RATING HAS NOW BEEN RAISED TO 4* GOLD by the Tourist Board. However traditional character has been preserved with deep windows, beams, a traditional wood fire, and Rayburn (Aga) cooker, and a selection of antique pictures. We even provide complimentary logs for the fire! It is a five minute walk to a traditional English pub with excellent food. Rolling Cotswold countryside can be seen passed the traditional village roof lines at the back. There is a large cottage garden with patio, barb-b que, and outdoor dining. Fluffy towels and toiletaries provide that extra pampered feel. There is an extensive selection of books, and even some children's books and toys for the perfect country retreat.

The English Tourist Board has certified this property as family-ready and suitable for cyclists. Cot, high chair, toys, plastic cutlery and crockery all available.

Fantastic Stay @ Easterleigh Cottage

Recently stayed at Easterleigh Cottage to celebrate mums 60th Birthday. Never been to the Cotwold's before and Great Rissington was everything we had ever imagined it to be like. Stunning surroundings, views and villages.
The cottage was simply beautiful! Immaculately cleaned, fresh linen and towels awaiting us, more space than we knew what to do with and very comfortable. Bright and spacious dinning room to enjoy meals as a family, lovely log fire to snuggle up in front of in the evening and a very pretty garden with various nooks and crannies to explore and enjoy bbq's in on a lovely summers day.
Couldn't have asked for a better cottage!! Will definitely stay again!! Highly recommend

Easterleigh Cottage in Great Rissington

I recently stayed at this cottage with a group of friends looking for a place to get together for a reunion. The cottage is well equipped, very comfortable, and more than large enough for our party of seven to stay there in comfort. Great Rissington is a pretty village and perfectly located for exploring the area. We all had a wonderful time and will certainly stay there again in the future.

Delightful cottage in excellent location

We stayed with two families (and a total of three young kids). The cottage was brilliantly equipped and had everything we might need. The location was also excellent for a weekend away from London. Not too long a drive and close to so many beautiful Cotswold towns. A great stay for us - thank you.

Family of Five

We have had a wonderfully relaxing stay at the Easterleigh Cottage in Great Rissington. The accommodations are extremely comfortable, with substantial beds and soft, clean bedding, a fully equipped kitchen, and a diningroom that is full of light.

We took our morning coffee in the garden each morning, surrounded by marvelous plantings and birdsong.

From the Easterleigh Cottage, we filled our days with walks along the Windrush River, sojourns to local attractions (such as Sudeley Castle, Haille Abbey, the Bell Inn, Bellas Knapp Long Barrow, shopping in Bourton on the Water, Rollright Stones, Snowshill Manor, Broadway Tower) and some more distant (Goodrich Castle, Puzzlewood, a dart into Wales to say that we did).

Each day, we finished with a pint at the Lamb Inn (lemonade for the kids) before starting supper.

I would highly recommend the Easterleigh Cottage. It worked perfectly for our family.
