Dinah's Shore 4100 Sq Ft House On Lake With Mountain Views And So Much More
Dinah's Shore was built for families and/or friends to come together to enjoy nature, (views and critters), water activities such as fishing, swimming, skiing, beaches, dinner cruises. Many sports activities are available within a mile of the house, such as 36 holes of golf, swimming, and hiking. Many other activities are a short, but beautiful drive through the mountains.

I built the house in 2009-2010 specifically for family and friends to share. We are fortunate to still have 4 generations on the ground, and we just love to get together at the house because there is something for every generation's preferences. The younger generations learn from the older ones, and the older ones marvel at the new DNA springing from the younger ones, particularly that relate to technology. It all meets right here over the dinner table, in the fishing boat, and climbing Chimney Rock.
DINAH purchased this house in 2010
Why DINAH chose Lake Lure
Dinah's Shore was built for fun and relaxation. There are 2400 sq ft of decks and porches (you decide what to do on them), a large dock with swim ladder for the oldies, a 14' aluminum V-hull fishing boat with electric trolling motor, a 17' kayak, an above-ground firepit on the waterfront. It is exceptional for swimming and water activity in the cool fresh water of Bald Mountain Lake fed by 3 large natural mountain creeks. There are no gasoline engines allowed on this lake, therefore no boat noise, no skiing, making it safer, quieter and more pleasurable for daily swimming, the 5 o'clock float, or most particularly breakfast on the dock.
What makes this house unique
Although quiet and private for living activities, many amenities are 9/10 mile away in Rumbling Bald Resort. You will have access to them; as well as around Lake Lure there are water ski rentals, pontoon rentals, and zip lines, to challenge your skills and let you enjoy the more worldly fray.
