HISTORIC RIVERFRONT CABIN WITH WOODSTOVE

Open up the curtains at the rear of the house and take in unbelievable views of the Sandy River rushing past, no matter what the weather may be outside. When the sun shines, step out to the patio overlooking the river. There is a charcoal grill for summer barbecues and a table and chairs so you can dine outdoors when the weather warms. There is a set of stony steps down to the river, but it is quite steep and may not be safe for younger guests - although, there is a gated fence lining the hill for extra safety. The cabin is also dog-friendly, with a $10 nightly fee per pet.

Come and enjoy the wonders of Mt. Hood! There are hiking trails and fishing holes galore, and of course the world-class skiing at four different resorts. Skibowl is the closest to this cabin, less than 15 miles away; is just a few miles further. The cabin itself is located just off Highway 26 for easy access at any time of year, but the sound of the Sandy rushing past easily drowns out any traffic noise. Golf and groceries are found just five minutes up the road in Welches.
