Since the gourmet open kitchen faces the room, the cooks will always be a part of the fun. Expansive granite countertops and barstools ensure the kitchen will be the nerve center of the home. Adjacent is a rustic log dining table with 8 chairs, and a kitchen deck with gas grill. The main floor also features a king bedroom with TV, half bath, and the master suite (also with TV). Sink into the plush king bed or a soaking bath in the luxurious master bath.
Upstairs in the loft, a smaller party can play shuffleboard, watch a different show, read, or sleep on the queen inflatable sofabed.
Downstairs, the pool room and wet bar, with gas fireplace and TV, is the perfect place to hang out with the crowd. Located near Donner State Park, you can swim or paddleboard, camp, have a picnic, or hike the 2.5 miles of trails in the park. Bring the clubs. There are no less than 13 golf courses around Truckee. You'll have access to Tahoe Donner amenities (for a nominal fee) including a recreation center with a work-out facility, pools and hot tub, downhill ski area (perfect for teaching kids) and a tennis center.
