Be pampered in comfort at Cottage of Tranquility. This home invites you to slow down and relax and leave your cares behind. Come be hypnotized by the glow of the outside fire pit. Walk to one of the most beautiful beaches on the coast. Pet friendly too!

This three bedroom, two bath home is tastefully decorated and offers the perfect place for a small family or a romantic getaway. The master bedroom has a queen bed with walk-in tiled shower. The second bedroom offers a queen bed also. The sitting room serves as a third bedroom with a twin trundle that opens to a king size bed.

The open air living/dining/kitchen combo allows for easy entertaining. The head cook will be delighted with the modern and well equipped kitchen. Relax by the warmth of the electric fireplace and sit back and enjoy the flat screen TV with cable. WiFi is present at this home also.

The Cottage of Tranquility is so named because of the tranquil beauty that surrounds it. Huge Sitka Spruces surround the home and wildlife abounds.

Located in Bayshore Estates and Beach Club, this newly constructed home (2010) includes access to a seasonal pool (approximately Memorial Day to Labor Day) and the game room with pool table and Foosball. A nominal $5 per day, per person charge for usage.

Cottage of Tranquility is centrally located just north of Waldport.

Waldport is a quiet fishing village with a gorgeous stretch of sand, offering plenty of space for building sand castles, flying kites, and hunting for beach glass or seashells. The Alsea River is less than a mile from your front door, meaning you are within an easy walk of excellent fishing, crabbing, and kayaking.

Vacationers who like a more laid-back environment but still want to visit famous attractions (like the Oregon Coast Aquarium and Rogue Brewery, for instance), will love staying in Waldport, which is just half an hour south of the busier, more touristy harbor of Newport. Plenty of restaurants, pubs, cafes, and shopping can be found there and in Yachats, 20 minutes south.

We had a great time staying at the Cottage...and it was indeed tranquil. Very, very quiet; very well
furnished and supplied with everything you need....right down to gourmet coffee! Comfortable
beds; sparkling clean bathroomsm, and a fully equipped kitchen to boot. It is definitely on our
list of places to return. Thanks for a great stay.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway
