Built in 1929, this upstairs unit of a traditional Spanish Duplex has been meticulously curated with details rarely found in rentals. You'll be amazed as you walk through the upgraded and fully supplied kitchen. Marble counters, Russell Wright dishes, Stainless steel and Le Creuset pots and pans, Bosch dish washer in a drawer, microwave oven, espresso maker, Viking stove and fridge, a breakfast nook, slate floor, dining room with a balcony and a huge living room. The whole apartment looks like it stepped right out of 'Mad Men' And five minutes to Beverly Hills. Five minutes to The Grove. Between Wilshire and Olympic Blvds., both rapid transit corridors to Downtown, Century City, Santa Monica and Malibu.
My family stayed in the downstairs unit of Casa Milagro for 7 weeks. I can't say enough about how wonderfully perfect our stay was.
Immediately, the property felt like home. The three bedrooms have the most comfortable beds and are adorably decorated. Each bedroom has excellent storage and furnishing...the closet space was fantastic.
The main bathroom is huge with a separate shower and tub. There are plenty of very nice towels for a family of 5.
The kitchen is very well appointed with everything you would need to cook a gourmet feast! Top of the line blender, toaster, refrigerator and 5 burner cooktop. There is a small cafe table in the kitchen and a large table in the dinning room that can seat at least 8. Outside, there is a lovely patio that is perfect for an evening dinner or morning coffee.
The family room is very large with excellent natural light that shines in through the charming original windows. There is a comfy sectional and nice big tv.
The location of the apartment is wonderful. One block off Wilshire Blvd. and walking distance to major museums, grocery stores, restaurants and coffee shops.
The owners, are amazing. Nothing is more important to them than their guests being comfortable. They made sure that my children were well cared for... bringing them a brand new blender for their morning smoothies, retrieving their balls from the roof of the garage, delivering a blow up bed so they could sleep in the same room together or having the perfect straws for them use for their drinks. No detail was left out and everything about the apartment and services met or exceeded our expectations.
Casa Milagro has become our second home and we can't wait to return!
We rented Casa Milagro for 5 weeks and were delighted with our experience. We would not hesitate to stay there again should we return to LA.
The flat was exactly as pictured and described. Spacious, luxurious, well-equipped, clean and safe, with ample parking, it is within an easy walk to many attractions as well as supermarkets, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods and restaurants. It is a short drive to Hollywood, Beverley Hills and other popular LA destinations.
Kevin and Dody were very responsive to our needs and made this a very relaxing and enjoyable experience.
As a flight attendant and seasoned traveller I would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful and tastefully decorated home.
I say home because it totally felt that way for our 8 day stay.
Kevin was an absolute delight to meet and help us in any way throughout the booking process and our stay. He was professional,prompt with all calls and emails,warm and friendly and nothing was to much trouble for him.
The home is everything it promises in the photos,and as I regulary stay in hotels cleanliness is high on my priority list and this home exceded my expectations.
Great shower pressure and plenty of hot water which is sometimes lacking at other locations.
As listed it was located really close to several supermarkets, resturants and shopping centres/malls. It had ample on street parking and if you had a smaller car than our van you could park off street.
We felt totally safe in the neighbourhood,with four children that was a high priority for us.
The home had ample cool,clean conditioned equipment in the kitchen for the 7 people stay. As was all the bed linen and towls were clean soft and in great condition.
The rooms had plenty of space for us to spread out,and we could all enjoy the lounge area together to relax and watch a bit of TV in the evenings.
In a terrific location to enjoy all that LA has to offer as a tourist.
I would not hesitate in retruning to this property and recommend it to familys and anyone else who wants a tastefull and gorgeous home to stay in.
After our four weeks travelling in the USA this was by far the best property we rented.
Coming from Australia we were dubious of the conditions of all places we rented but we were totally thrilled that this was as promised in the photos.
We had the pleasure of renting Casa Milagro for two months earlier this year. The property is tastefully decorated with all the comforts and conveniences of home. The photos on the site are an exact replica of what you will get with Casa Milagro. The house is quite spacious with big bedrooms and lots of closet/drawer space with a large kitchen and wonderful master bathroom. It was great to open the big windows to let in the light and the beautiful California breezes. The location was perfect - right in the middle of everything with great restaurants and grocery shopping within walking distance. Easy drive to Rodeo Drive, The Grove, Hollywood & Highland, great shopping on Melrose, to the beaches of Santa Monica and Venice, as well as to LAX. The owners - Kevin and Dody - are fantastic; very responsive to questions and were great to stop by to personally welcome us to town.
Casa Milagro appears to be aptly named. After 3 years of coming out to LA for pilot season, my daughter who is an actress, booked a pilot on a major network! While Kevin and Dody can't promise you that kind of result, they will provide you with an outstanding place to stay while enjoying beautiful Southern California!
