Everything we wanted
The house conformed with its description and was extremely secure. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Much thought had been put into equipping it for a really comfortable stay, and everything provided was of high quality. We successfully cooked quite complex meals - we do not favour using pre- prepared meals when there is an abundance of wonderful fresh local produce - and there was a choice of 3 areas in which to dine: two terraces (secure) in which to sit out and a shady, private garden in which to relax. Beach towels, picnic equipment, snorkelling gear - one could go on and on - there was simply all one could want or need for a successful holiday. Another bonus was the selection of board games and videos to while away the evenings (if needed). It is made clear that there is only one channel available on the t..v (one in the sitting room and each of the 2 bedrooms), but we cannot comment on the quality of this, as we seldom even switch on the t.v. when on holiday, and we certainly had sufficient to entertain us (the house is close to bars and restaurants in Holetown) without resorting to television. Both bedrooms were spacious with lots of wardrobe and drawer space.The bathrooms were also spacious with a shower, but no bath tub (which we expected and did not miss) in each - very efficient showers. The use of the washing machine and facilities for drying were also a bonus. We enjoyed a really comfortable, safe and happy stay at Mango House.
Owner's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed Mango House. We try our best to make sure it is suitable for self-catering holiday makers. We cook when we stay in there so it's nice to have all the home comforts that you need.
We decided that with the weather being very hot all year it was better to have good showers rather than bath tubs so we re-fitted both bathrooms with large showers.
