I have been vacationing in Palm Springs since 1995 and have totally fallen in love with the vibe and beauty of this desert oasis. I was SO fortunate to find this incredible home last fall and have taken much time to create a truly fun and festive environment for my guests. The stunning grounds and the unique original 21 foot diameter round pool make the atmosphere vintage and hip while comfortable with all of the conveniences you'll need to experience a terrific Palm Springs Holiday!

The original Alexander Construction Company 1958 gem maintains its classic feel while updated to include all of the amenities you would expect for a Palm Springs getaway. The open floor plan and bright and sunny environment creates a truly fun and upbeat space for entertaining or unwinding after a fun day of sun, hiking or golf. The Central location is great for easy access to shopping night life and everything you could possibly want to make your stay memorable.
You and your guests will enjoy flat screen televisions (including DVD player) in every bedroom, wireless internet and access to printer, telephone and an inside washer dryer. We've worked to provide everything you'll need and we're sure you will LOVE this home as much as we do and we hope you'll make Palm Springs Holiday your stop over and over again in the years to come!
We booked with very short notice, and David was extremely accommodating and responsive. Property was spotless, exactly as represented in the photos, and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Would recommend this property with absolutely no hesitation.
We stayed for 10 nights and found the property everything we were looking for to have an enjoyable stay! All amenities found in this house. Definitely recommend David's house and ease of doing business to anyone looking to rent. Plan to stay here again on our next trip out and will recommend to friends and family.
A lovely, very comfortable house. We stayed here for 6 very enjoyable nights. Very well equipped and very clean we did very little during our stay other than swim and sunbathe, and loved the private patio and pool.

It has taken me forever to write this review, so when friends just asked me where they should stay in PS next month...I started raving about this house again! David (the owner) really deserves for people to know how great his place is and how much thought has gone into making it perfect for guests. We've rented many VRBO houses in many cities, and this was absolutely one of best picks! This house was just remodeled, and we were among the very first guests to stay there, which for a Palm Springs rental really makes a difference. Literally, no one had even used the stove or coffeemaker! The beds, pillows, and towels were all top quality! The whole place was fresh and clean and perfectly appointed. The PS vibe was so much fun in the house and had everything you need for a perfect weekend. The rental was easy, the return of my deposit came quickly, and the local manager was available for anything we needed. Pool, grill, firepit, was all great. Highly recommend this house!
From the moment we opened the front door, we knew we were getting exactly what was portrayed through the photos and description in the property listing. Our young family (3 kids under 8) were looking for a relaxing getaway from rainy Vancouver during Spring Break. It was important we had a great yard with pool, privacy and an updated modern environment. All of this was delivered in spades. Throw open the sliding patio doors each morning and instantly feel the warmth of sunny Palm Springs. The south facing backyard delivers amazing views of the mountains and an abundance of sunshine throughout the day. The yard offers fantastic lounging platforms and shading opportunities with great outdoor furniture. We thought we would miss having a hot tub but the heated salt water pool was both refreshing during the day and perfect for a warm evening swim. For our kids the pool couldn't have been more perfect, shallow enough to stand around the perimeter edges and not too deep to swim about the middle with our supervision. We spent hours each day in the water and plenty of grassy area to kick the ball and run around! The gas fire pit area was a fantastic way to end the day after wonderful dinner cooked on the clean/modern BBQ. If you are flying into Palm Springs Airport, you're only minutes away by car. Looking at the map you think you might be too close to the airport but once you're settled into the home and the neighborhood you wouldn't even know an airport is so close by and we never had any issues with noise given the flight path is not at all over the house. The proximity to downtown Palm Springs is also attractive, just a few minute drive by car or 15 to 20 minute walk. Grocery stores and shopping all very close by and convenient as well. Owner David was great to work with and responsive throughout the planning process, although we never needed to contact him about anything once we arrived for our 10 day stay. We wouldn't hesitate to return to this home for a future visit and rate the overall experience as better than we anticipated.
My family (3 adults and 2 kids) and I arranged a last-minute Spring Break at this great property in central Palm Springs. The house and furnishings are really fun - kind of like where Dean Martin might have lived, if he had decorated while sober. Circular pool in back yard is fabulous. Great location. Duane, the care taker is awesome and let us back in after we locked ourselves out. Booking, owner interaction, and contract signature could not have been easier. Everybody had a great time, and Palm Springs has a nice mix of outdoor (desert exploration, hiking, running) and urban (restaurants, bars, shopping) activities. You will not go wrong with this rental!
Centrally located within minutes of all Palm Springs amenities. Grocery store and shopping less than 5 minutes away. Airport less than one mile. Downtown shops, restaurants and attractions are less than a 5 minute drive from home. Golf clubs, hiking and seasonal activities are all just minutes away. Casinos and entertainment abound.
