The construction of the final Westin timeshare building began Feb 15, 2015 and will continue through completion. Please be advised there may be heightened noise during the daytime hours. To compensate, the posted nightly rates have been discounted in anticipation of any construction related inconvenience.

Awesome place and location

What a nice unit and great location. All the people from KBM where responsive and very helpful! I'd definitely reccomend and would use them again. Boogie boards and chairs where a extra nice perk.

The resort was clean and well kept. Everything was super convenient with all you need right there. We all had a great time and will be back again.

Great condo if you want privacy and sea views and don't mind the building site

After reviewing all the available condos within my price range and dates, I settled on this condo. If you want privacy, beach/sea views and peace and quiet, without paying the full on price tag, this is the one. Most other condos will overlook the internal courtyards, the other building, or the north beach which is blocked by other hotels / buildings. This condo looks south, while it's not a direct beach view, you get full view of Lanai and down the beach to black rock on the right side, and you can view the mountains from the balcony (we saw the afternoon rainbows). The pictures are accurate.

We were two couples and this condo was perfect for us - great amenities, lots of beach gear (would be nice if there was some snorkelling gear available but I think my last rental spoilt me!). No safe in room though. Shower pressure pretty hard too.

Had some doubts about using KBM as their website is virtually non-existent and I was emailed from several different email addresses by Justin, but it all worked out great, no problems.

I would happily book this apartment again and recommend it, pity I live so far away though!

Snorkelling tip - there's good easy beach snorkelling south of Honua Kai at the end of the construction site and where the Westin starts - locally known as 'Old Airport'. The trees provide a little shade and shelter. I saw lots of fish, some eels and a turtle. We went to Black Rock but it's a long walk (30 mins) from HK. The water is really clear there but too many people. We didn't see any turtles there. There's too much of a rip snorkelling outside Honua Kai (or maybe we just had wrong time of day).

Didn't want to leave

What an amazing place to stay. The unit was beautiful and clean as well as the hotel itself. The unit is supplied with everything you need including beach stuff. Very nice having a washer and dryer in the unit! The views are great as long as you can ignore the abandoned work sight below. Pictures show the open lot. It was nice having ocean AND mountain views and we were able to ignore the mot so pretty part. The restaurant Dukes downstairs was good. I recommend the nachos at lunch time! The little store/cafe in the lobby was nice too. Coffee there was great! We also loved the pools. Our 6 yr old especially loved the slide. Snorkeling was great right in front of the hotel. Beach was great too. Condo is a great location to the elevator. Made it easy to carry up groceries from the car as well as get out to the pools. Management team was great to work with. We would definitely recommend this unit and hope to stay there again.

What a great vacation. KBM is a pleasure to deal with. Great views. The boogie boards came in handy as well as the cooler. Kitchen was stocked well with dished and cooking needs.

I don't have anything bad to say. Was an amazing time in a great condo.

Honua Kai Dream Vacation - WOW WOW WOW

I can assure you that this is the best vacation spot ever for our family. The unit had to be brand new as everything was spotless - the views were breathtaking and better than the photos show in the website. The beds and pillows etc were more comfortable than we have at home and the bathrooms were all tile and luxurious. We spent many hours in early am and evening on the Lanai watching whales go by and splash and spout - our kids were fascinated and there was never a dull moment for any of us. We loved eating our meals on the Lanai and watching the beautiful ocean sunsets. This unit was so peaceful and was protected from the prevailing winds.

We were able to cook most of our meals in the unit and having Times Market across the street for grocery shopping was very convenient. The kitchen had every possible item available and in pristine condition. We occasionally used the coffee bar downstairs and Dukes restaurant had a tropical flair and great bar type food.

Did I mention the amenities in the resort - weight and exercise room, 3 very large pools, water slide, kids sandy beach area by the pool, lazy river, and a beautiful sandy beach and abundant areas for swimming and excellent snorkeling in front of the complex. Being a golfer, I was able to sneak away and play the nearby Kapalua Plantation golf course where the PGA tournament is played every year. We went whale watching in nearby Lahaina and our kids loved the Sugar "bullet" Train.

Justin and his dad John were so helpful getting us settled, pointing our the amenities available, and were on call for us anytime we needed assistance. We were able to go to a couple of nearby restaurants and a child care center was great for day care if needed.

We plan to return next year and I can highly recommend this unit as it is a vacation paradise.
