Very clean two bedroom guest house. Your home away from home. Only 1 mile from town. Vacation or short term rental

About Owner / Property Manager

We enjoy having others feel the sense of home verses just a normal vacation staying in a Hotel. We love nothing more than having our guests say that this cottage exceeded their expectations and that they want to come back!

What makes this cottage unique

Waking up to nature is one of the many features about this guest house. You have a beautiful view of the horse pasture from either the living area or from the master bedroom. (I saw a fox right outside the bedroom door one morning and also a white deer) Of course our horse Doc is part of the scenery. A walk through the trails to sit by the pond or go fishing (catch and release) Go have breakfast at a local Diner or have a bite to eat at a local Cafe with live entertainment on the weekends. Country or City you can have them both when you stay here.

Nearest Barpub : Germantown or Mount Airy at 6 Miles
Nearest Ski : Ski Liberty or Whitetail at 42 Miles
Nearest Golf : Little Bennett or Whiskey Creek at 3 Miles

Country setting... Although we are only one mile outside of the town of Damascus, we are surrounded by 80 acres of woods and trails. A pond for fishing and trails for you or your horses. If you don't have a horse to bring, take a two hour trail ride or lesson only 5 minutes from the house. This guest house is very private with beautiful view of the horse pasture. Full kitchen soon will have washer/dryer.

Play a game of basketball, Have a BBQ , relax in the hot tub or a walk through the trails and sit by the pond. See the sights of Washington DC or Baltimore only 40 miles away, Gettysburg is about an hour and skiing is about an hour as well. Adventure Park is only 8 miles from the house. See the link. Harpers Ferry (go water tubing) Horseback riding is only 5 miles away,Volleyball and Bat mitting, Feed Doc our horse, Croquet game,You will not run out of things to do!

We also have two bedroom basement apartment available for 125.00 a night. See other listing on VRBO When booking the entire main house the cottage will rent for a flat 250.00 a night including the cleaning for two people and then 15.00 per person over the 2.
