COTTAGE, 2 BR, 1 Bath (Sleeps 4-5) OR LODGE, 4 BR, 2.5 Baths (Sleeps 8)

You know you've left the city behind when you stay in this cozy mountain cabin next to a mountain stream. Foss River Lodge is surrounded by lush forest and the soothing sound of the river is everywhere. This is a very private cabin off the beaten path, yet close to Stevens Pass, Skykomish and Alpine Lakes Wilderness Area hiking trails.

This is a great apres ski cabin 20 minutes from Stevens Pass with a real wood burning fireplace, private 7-person hot tub, and northwoods cabin decor. It also has many amenities to make your stay comfortable including washer/dryer, well equipped full kitchen, down comforters, and quality linens. This cabin can have snow Dec-March, and is close to an area popular for winter sports. The roads are usually cleared to the cabin but AWD, 4WD or chains are needed at times.

Foss River Lodge is available year-round for your romantic, recreation, or relaxation getaway. It is a popular summer retreat. This cabin books early, especially during ski season and summer, due to the large number of repeat guests.

Our long weekend at the cabin

As this was our 11th or 12th stay at the Foss River Cabin it goes without saying that we love it.
It is a cozy and comfortable cabin with an awesome covered deck with large hot tub overlooking the river.
The kitchen is well equipped with labeled drawers to help you find all the cooking tools you could possibly need - from stew pots to salad spinner. Drifting off to sleep listening to the roar of the river and the chugging of the occasional train going by up the mountain is truly special. We will be back again.

We're Sad to Be Leaving, But Sure to Be Back Soon

This was our romantic Christmas getaway this year and it was a lovely time. We wandered through the mountain towns and learned a lot of history pertaining to the U.S. Highway 2 and the railroad. We ate German food in Leavenworth and watched trains go by in Skykomish. Today we'll take off through Wenatchee and head home via Snoqualmie Pass. We're sad to be leaving but sure to be back some day soon.

Another wonderful weekend celebrating our anniversary! This is our 4th year coming to the cottage and we LOVE it! We love the river, the sound of the train, the fireplace, the dining room with the windows that look out upon the river, trees, birds, the hot tub, etc.! We both feel very lucky to experience such beauty!

Creates an Amazing Mood for a Romantic Weekend

My wife and I were married here on the deck in 2003 and coming back for our 8th anniversary was quite a treat. This place will always be close to our hearts, and our children absolutely love it. I'd love to go to sleep with the river sounds and the train every night just to wake up to the same sounds every morning. This place creates such an amazing mood for a romantic weekend, even a friendly get together, it's amazing!

We Had a Wonderful, Relaxing Time

Ugh! Time to leave to go back to the rat race. We, again, had a wonderful, relaxing time. Spent one day exploring the Iron Goat Trails. So interesting. Also spent a day in Leavenworth. Yum! Good German food. Thanks so much for letting us stay here again. Can't wait to come back!
