We really enjoyed our stay at Payton's Lake House. There was plenty room under the covered boat stalls for our party barge and the fishing boat. The rocking chairs on the back porch were a very welcoming site too. The house is very nice and I really loved the large kitchen (did alot of cooking). The large table and bar stools in the dining area were really nice too. The WiFi and a phone with free long distance is a very nice amenity for those who want to keep in touch with family members. Elise is so helpful and just a phone call away anytime you need her to answer your questions or help with any problem you may have while you are there. I would definately recommend Payton's Lake House and can't wait until we can go back there again. Thanks Elise & Lane

If you want a nice place to relax and get in some fishing time, I recommend
this lake house. It is located in a private location that has a wonderful
big back yard. You can fish off the dock or use the boat the homeowners
have left for you. Holly Park Marina is four houses down and provides
breakfast and lunch if you don't want to cook. The house has everything
you want Direct TV , wireless Internet, paddle boat, and more. I will stay
here again and I highly recommend this lovely lake home.

We rented this house to stay at and enjoy while coming to toledo bend lake to fish a bass tournment. The property was clean and everything was as advertised. The house is in a great location close to boat launches as well as a marina with gas, food grill and all neccessary items we needed.The covered boat pier made it nice to keep our boat in at night and charge all batteries. When we return to toledo bend to fish tournments in the future this rental will be our first choice.

I have to say that this home is just wonderful on a quiet cove. It had everything we needed and more. What you see in the pictures is what your get. The dock access was terrific to have along with all the amenities of having a place to clean fish and having a place to keep your fish alive til we had enough for a fish fry! The extra flat boat was great for my son and his friend to fish out of as well as the paddle boat for my daughter to keep herself busy! The property itself is nice and quiet. Plenty of frontage to fish too. We were there to fish, fish, fish...and we did. Though the first couple days were cold...we still caught a few bass not to far from the camp. We really did well the last day we was there bc it had warmed up enough to get the bass moving! The sac-a-lait werent really biting right by the camp, but trying was fun! Also, the launch/Marina is literally like four houses past the house. That was convenient too. Their hamburgers are yummy! All and all...our trip was awesome even given the weather conditions which didn't stop us from catching enough bass for a fish fry! I would also like to mention that the house is nice and cozy too...although the outside is my favorite.....which is where most of our time was spent when not fishing....I wish this place was mine!! LOL!! Thank you Elise for opening your home to us and being so great to talk to. We look forward to returning. May be sooner than ya think!!
