3BR, 2BA home is located in the tiny town of Coram, seven miles from the west entrance of Glacier National Park. The home offers a fully equipped kitchen, outdoor gas grill, dining room, washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, TV with Dish Network, DVD, VCR, a living room with comfortable seating, big front yard, fire pit, all on a quiet half-acre neighborhood lot. Expect a clean, comfortable home with a well maintained yard and views of Columbia and Tea Kettle Mountains from the covered front porch. The master bedroom offers a king size bed with a private bathroom. The second bedroom has two twin beds. A baby crib (pack n play) for extra little ones is available. Third bedroom is a converted office/den area with a queen bed. The property also has 2 RV sites available for nightly rental for groups however they are not rented individually. They would only be available for your group.
This home is convenient to the Flathead Valley, shopping in the towns of Bigfork, Columbia Falls, Kalispell and Whitefish, fishing on the Hungry Horse Reservoir, Lake McDonald, Middle Fork or North Fork of the Flathead River, and white water rafting. Guided horseback riding, hiking, fishing trips, and scenic helicopter tours are available from local vendors. Fun for kids at The Amazing Fun Center (an entertainment park with mini golf, go-cart track, basketball nets, a huge wooden maze and bumper boats), is within walking distance. Bring your bicycles, run or walk and enjoy the 3 mile paved bike path from Coram to Hungry Horse. Restaurants, Stonefly Lounge and Glacier Distilling Co. are also within walking distance.
The Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad runs by the towns of Coram and West Glacier, so railroad enthusiasts will be fascinated, but others may not like the railroad sounds. The home, located a half mile from the tracks, is in the same canyon as all West Glacier area housing so everyone is aware of the railroad to some extent. This is a nice home for a family vacation, wilderness hiking and many outdoor adventures.
Waterslides, maze, bumper boats, go-cart track, mini golf, 18 hole golf course, Glacier Park helicopter tours, bear park, museums, whitewater rafting, 50 mile long reservoir and many lakes. Close to boating, fishing, and sightseeing pleasures, as well as Glacier National Park within ten minutes of your front door with miles of hiking trails and some of the most gorgeous mountain scenery around.
