Excellent 5 bedroom villa with 2 separate apartments, sleeps 10/12 persons

Villa overlooking the town and coast of Calpe. It is south facing and boasts sunshine all day long. Sleeps up to 12 people and it is ideal for 2 families or a large group sharing. It has 2 separate self contained apartments. 1st floor and ground floor, each apartment sleeps 6. Both apartments contain their own modern bathrooms, fully fitted kitchens and furnished lounges with dining areas. The 1st floor apartment has French doors which lead to a large balcony with seating area that overlooks the pool and boasts fantastic views. The ground floor apartment has French doors that lead to a large terrace and swimming pool which is adorned by palm trees and sun beds. There is also a covered terrace or naya which is a shaded seating area. All the windows are new and have protective mosquito netting and security blinds fitted. Villamacca is situated in a tranquil residential area in its own private 700 metres plot and has electric gates for added security with parking space for 3 or 4 cars. There is ample secure garage space for 6 or 7 bicycles.

LOVELY IN EVERY WAY

We stayed there the Summer of 2013, three generations of extended family, eight adults and five children (teens, a toddler and two to infants), and Villamacca was perfect for us. The villa is just as advertised and then some. The Pool is lovely and clean, and provided plenty of fun av recreation when we weren't exploring. There's plenty of outside spaces - big enough for family gatherings at meal time, and some secluded enough to provide some privacy. There's always a place where you can bask in the sun - and always a space that's in the shade, if that's what you prefer. The barbecue/outside kitchen was more than adequate for even our large family.

The parking space within the gate can easily accommodate two-three large cars, in theory (with a little planning) four, however, on-street parking just outside the gates was never a problem.

Pictures do not entirely do it justice - the view of Calpe is glorious, and the villa is clean and very well-maintained.

Fred and Sheila were perfect hosts - friendly, helpful, laid-back, always available and dependable. Fred is also a walking encyclopedia, and gave us plenty of helpful advice where guide books and Google came up short.

We would not have enjoyed Calpe nearly as much as we came to do if we had not stumbled upon this villa. We hope we will be able to return some day!

just a quick email to thank you and your wife for looking after Rob and his friends last week. They had a great time and it was everything you described - great villa, great location, great weather and great hosts.

They made a point of telling us what lovely people you are and that you had gone out of your way to help them, to make sure that they had a good time. They must have burnt the midnight oil as they were exhausted when I picked them up from Stanstead.

I do hope that they were all well behaved and that the villa was left the same as when they arrived.

Villamacca is situated about a 15 to 20 minutes walk or a 3 minutes drive to 2 amazing long blue flag beaches which are patrolled by lifeguards and containing sports and children activity play areas and water sports facilities. Villamacca is situated about 2 kilometres from Calpe town centre which takes about 4 minutes travel by car. Calpe is situated on the Costa Blanca and has a number of coastal towns and villages nearby and all within a short driving distance - including, Moraira, Javea ,Denia, Altea, Albir and Benidorm. The furthest of these towns is about a 25 minute drive. Calpe has about 600 restaurants and bars with varied menus to suit all tastes. It also has many large supermarkets for convenient shopping. There are numerous banks and designer shops and plenty of night life. Calpe is famous for its amazing Penon De Ifach the northern rock of Spain. This rock is spanned on either side by 2 long glorious blue flag beaches with many amenities and safe play areas for children.

Golf: There are a number of golf courses within a short drive from the villa. La Sella is an excellent local 18 hole golf course at Jesus Pobre. which is about 25 minutes drive from the villa and there is another excellent 18 hole golf course near Benidorm which is about 25 minutes drive from the villa. Javea golf course is a splendid course which is about 20 minutes drive from the villa. There are also two 9 hole golf courses within a 15 minute drive from the villa. Golf Ifach is a 9 hole golf course and is only a 10 minute drive from the villa. Villamacca is ideally located for groups of cyclists.

Villamacca consists of 2 individual self contained apartments. The first floor contains 3 bedrooms, bathroom, Kitchen, lounge and dining room leading to external terrace and seating area with sea and mountain views. the ground floor contains 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, lounge and dining room with double doors leading to the pool and terraces.There is also a covered terrace with seating area.The apartments have air conditioning units and fans for all rooms.The villa also has gas and warm air heating. The villa is suitable for children, cots, a quality high chair and baby buggy are available at no extra charge. DVDs, books and local information literature are provided. Both kitchens are modern and fully fitted.Both contain a fridge/freezer,hob,extractor fan, oven, microwave, electric kettle, toaster,crockery,cutlery etc. Preferred Arrival time 2.00 pm approx. Preferred departure time 10 am approx. unless with prior agreement.
