1330 Ford is an elegant, single story, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home, on a 1/3 of an acre. The house is located blocks from the Historic downtown McMinnville.
Karen and I have tried to create a relaxed environment, a comfortable vacation home to accommodate families, the outdoor enthusiast, as well as small groups looking to get away and indulge in Oregon's wine, beer and farmer-foodie culture. 1330 Ford is just minutes to several wineries, local tasting rooms, great restaurants and the Public Market on Saturdays. Also nearby is McMinnville High School, the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum and Linfield College. You can be in Portland or drive to the Oregon coastline in less than an hour.
The home features mid-century modern decor, gorgeous hardwood floors, and large windows offering beautiful views of the yard from every room. The bedrooms are large and offer privacy for couples and friends traveling together. Each bedroom is well appointed with new beds and fresh cozy linens. The large fully equipped kitchen with center island is great for cooking or just hanging out and visiting. It has a wood burning fireplace which adds to the charm - great for roasting marshmallows or warming up a chilly Oregon morning.
The fenced backyard features some of Oregon's favorites - maple, walnut, and apple trees and you can even enjoy fresh raspberries and blueberries when they are in season. Plenty of room for your well behaved dog or simply enjoying some quiet privacy with a glass of wine.
For your entertainment, this home features wi-fi, cable, a dvd player and for your convenience a washer and dryer.

Karen and I fell in love with McMinnville a year ago, and made the decision to purchase a home here. 1330 Ford is our vacation home, but we want to share it with others so they can fall in love with this area as we have.

The house was spotless, and was well taken care of. They thought of everything you could need, as well as everything in the house worked. I never once had to call the property manager with questions or complaints. It is large and spacious home, great for friends and family to get together and visit. I like how they had a TV room separate from a large family, living room with high ceilings. The beds were comfortable with nice sheets, great pillows, and nice towels in the bathrooms. The restaurant Nick's downtown had great Italian food, I highly recommend that one to eat at. We did the horseback riding wine tasting tour bet felt 2 hours was not enough time. You need to do 4 hours with a lunch break in between would be a better use of the time. Wonderful place to stay with family if you are ever in McMinville for any reason.
Three friends and I stayed here for 4 days and we all thought it was a great house. The pictures on the website and description are totally accurate. It is large and spacious house with a great floor plan. The 3 large bedrooms are in a wing on the far side of the house. This is a nice set up because if some of the group wanted to watch TV or have a lively discussion, they could do so and not disturb those who wanted to sleep. There is a two car garage and large laundry room. The kitchen has all the pots, pans, dishes, utensils etc necessary to prepare almost any type of meal. It is a quiet neighborhood. We heard no street noise and we all commented on how comfortable the beds were.
Wonderful spacious, bright comfortable home. We celebrated a graduation with champagne sunday brunch and it didn't matter at all that it was raining seated around the bright dining room. Bedrooms all large, clean and comfortable. Great large kitchen and a fun walk to downtown for coffee and also light dinner on the rooftop at the Oregon Hotel! Everything you'd need at the house or close by!
We stayed at this place for our one year wedding anniversary. It is large, private, and incredibly tastefully decorated. In walking distance of the downtown area with shops and tasting rooms. Private back yard for dogs to explore. Very enjoyable!
My sister-in-laws and I enjoy our girl weekends. This year we decided on McMinnville, OR for some wine tasting. Close to downtown, a bit of a walk if you plan on walking.. a very, very short drive. Nice, quiet neighborhood. The home is spacious, beautifully decorated and fully stocked kitchen for the foodies out there. Enjoyed our weekend visit to McMinnville, would definitely recommend this home.
This house was centrally located in the Willamette Valley wine country. It was convenient to wineries in the area and good restaurants. It was also well located to the older downtown area of McMinnville which has a number of nice local food establishments including restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries. We rented the house with another couple and had ample room. Although an older house it is very well maintained. According to tax records it was built in 1946. It is in a nice neighborhood. It has a very large laundry room, modern kitchen, with dining room off the kitchen. The dining room looks into a very large living room and out to a very nice and well maintained garden. There is a TV room off the kitchen. There are three fireplaces, one in the kitchen, one in the TV room and one in the living room. The garden has a patio with table and chairs. The bedrooms are big with lots of room for clothes. We would recommend this house to anyone considering a few days to a week in the wine country in the Willamette Valley. We certainly enjoyed it and I'm sure most would find this rental well worth the cost. If you are looking to a fine dining establishment within a few miles of this rental we would strongly recommend the Joel Palmer House in Dayton.
1330Ford is located close to McMinnville High School and Linfield College, and a short walk to the Historic Downtown, where you will discover great restaurants and bars like Community Plate, La Rambla, Old Oak and Thistle, as well as a number of wineries/wine bars like Twelve and R. Stuart & Co. Wine Bar.
