LOVELY MODERN APARTMENT IN TREE-LINED PALERMO SOHO

Beautiful apartment in an exceptional location –just half a block from Plaza Serrano - in the heart of vibrant Palermo Soho. where tree-lined, cobbled streets are host to a burgeoning bohemian scene of cafes, restaurants, bars, galleries and pretty boutiques. The apartment was gutted and completely renovated, refurbished and interior-designed by very well known modern Argentinean architects in a warm and inviting, breezy minimalist style.

This stylish, modern two-bedroom apartment was re-designed resulting in a clean décor that is punctuated by organic touches, resulting in a style that is both modern and warm. The open plan living/dining area is a welcoming, bright space that opens up onto an open plan kitchen that is fully equipped and has a breakfast bar. The breezy living/dining/kitchen area opens up onto a long balcony that spans the full width of the apartment and overlooks Calle Serrano. The balcony is furnished with potted plants and a small bistro-style table and two chairs. Both bedrooms are located at the back of the apartment and are nice and quiet. They both feature queen-sized beds, good wardrobe space and ensuite bathrooms (one with a single sink and shower, one with a double sink and shower / bath), making it an ideal space for two couples. It is located on the second floor of an apartment building.

Towels and full linens are included and a hair dryer in the master bathroom. Equipment in the kitchen includes: dishwasher, washer, fridge, electric oven, gas hobs, coffee machine, orange juice squeezer, salad spinner, large salad and soup bowls, wine decanter, wine and champagne glasses, full set of dining ware. In the living room there is a home theatre system that can play CDs, DVDs, MP3 and radio. There is an Ethernet point for internet access at the work station. There are 3 air-conditioning / heating units – one in each bedroom and one in the open plan kitchen / dining / living area.

In order to maximize the enjoyment of their apartment the owners include weekly maid service. To welcome you into their beautiful home, the owners of this apartment will leave you coffee and tea upon arrival as well as a complimentary bottle of Argentinean champagne and fresh cut flowers. Soaps, toilet paper and other cleaning essentials are also included on arrival.

We have two properties in Palermo Soho, only a few blocks from each other. The other property is VRBO listing number 437937. Both are two bedroom, two en-suite bathrooms, both designed by the same architects with similar aesthetic and furnishings (the other apartment has 2 king beds, one of which can become two twins, and has tall ceilings and a very large decked terrace with a dipping pool, is in part of a completely renovated traditional Palermo house). With enough anticipation, rentals can be arranged for both properties simultaneously, so that groups of 4 couples could go on holiday together to Buenos Aires.

Both of our apartments are located in the vibrant and trendy neighborhood of ‘Palermo Soho’. This picturesque quarter underwent a process of gentrification about years ago and still retains it’s strong ‘neighborhood’ feel to it. It has the same kind of feel to it as Soho in New York, or Notting Hill in London. The cobbled streets, the tree-lined sidewalks and the low-lying buildings, many of them with their original façades, are now host to Buenos Aires’s most thriving bohemian scene. Relax in the numerous cafés and watch the world go by, venture into art galleries, or explore what Argentina’s young designers have to offer by shopping in the many little boutiques that the area has come to be known for. There is no shortage of night-time activities either – this part of town is known for its fabulous restaurant selection and popular bars, all within walking distance from our apartment.

Both properties come with weekly maid service and check-in and check-out done by our wonderful local administrators who speak fluent English. They also run a local travel agency, and can help arrange safe airport pick up, tickets to shows, domestic travel and hotel bookings within Argentina, and are always on call should you need a hand with anything.
