This 2400 square foot home is located in the hills, just east of Scottsdale in the beautiful guard gated eagle mountain community. Please note that the Eagle Mountain Community requires a 30 day minimum stay. My wife and i just purchased this beautiful home last summer from a one owner couple who custom built the home in 1999. We plan to use the home in the off season, so we have completely furnished the home with beautiful brand new furniture and decor. The home sits on an extra large lot with a beautiful Sonoran desert mountain hillside scenery outside the back yard/pool area and a large desert wash with native desert plants on the east side of the house.

The lounges by the pool can be shaded to whatever degree you wish by the adjustable sunbrella. Finally, for you golfers, the brand new putting green and chipping area in the back yard make for a convenient practice area before you venture out to challenge yourself at the beautiful eagle mountain golf course next door.
3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms - master bedroom with a king bed; Casita bedroom with a queen bed and new pull out sleeper sofa and guest bedroom with a full bed. The master and Casita both have their own bathrooms. The guest bedroom has a guest bathroom across the hall.
The large master bedroom, with private access to the patio and pool, features large windows allowing for lots of natural light and yet, it’s very private. You’ll sleep peacefully on a brand new king size bed with an elegantly hand-finished hardwood frame by Zin home. On those cool desert mornings, you may just decide to stay in bed and watch tv on the wall-mounted large flat screen HDTV. A sitting area also allows for watching TV, reading or just taking in the views of the desert landscape. The master bath also gets lots of natural light through a large glass-block window and features a soaking tub, separate shower and “his” and “hers” sinks. The walk-in closet will provide more than enough storage and hanging space, no matter how long you plan to stay.
The Casita features a queen size bed with a woven rattan headboard and pottery barn bedding. It also includes a cozy living space with a pottery barn (full size) sleeper sofa, rustic coffee table and flat screen TV. Adjoining this space is a sink area, full bath and two separate large closets. The Casita bedroom also has its own access through french doors which open to the front walkway entrance allowing an additional level of privacy.
The guest bedroom has a full size pottery barn sleigh bed, a beautiful antique furniture piece and convenient closet area. The guest bathroom is across the hall and includes double sinks adjoining with a separate bath and toilet room.
Tucked into the hall between the living area and the bedrooms, is a desk an inkjet printer and plenty of drawers in case you need to attend to some responsibilities in between your leisure activities. The home has a robust WiFi internet connection via cox cable service.
The dining area features a glass covered, rustic round dining table from restoration hardware with seating for 8 and a large sliding glass door hutch. From the dining table you will enjoy views through the semi-circular bay window looking out to the covered outdoor seating area and backyard pool. The dining area also includes a rustic wooden cabinet with storage which serves very well as a bar, buffet or both.
The great room is bright and inviting with the entire northern wall consisting of expansive windows overlooking the refreshing pool and desert hillside beyond. The brand new custom “plantation style” shutters give the room a clean and open feel, allowing for privacy when you want it. This room features a very comfortable sectional sofa from z gallerie and beautiful rustic tables for putting your feet up and relaxing. Above the great room gas fireplace and TV area is a large alcove and view window to enjoy the blue desert sky and landscape. The media center includes a large flat screen HDTV, cox cable DVR box for recording, blue ray DVD player, sound bar with woofer for quality sound and an apple TV. Stream movies, etc. With your apple TV login, netflix subscription etc. Using the home’s high speed cox cable internet service via the apple airport express wireless router. Between the great room and kitchen is a semi-circle bar for entertaining guests who prefer to be part of the kitchen scene.
The kitchen is also bright and open with 10 foot ceilings, an abundance of cabinet storage, counter top space, and a stainless refrigerator with purified water and ice in the door. The kitchen is fully loaded with everything the best cook might need including espresso coffee maker, professional “Blendtec” smoothie/juicer and much more. A kitchen nook table with seating for four sits near a bay window overlooking the front yard desert plantings. There is also a small desk in the kitchen with an overhead light.
The home has a large 2 car garage (one space is taken with our Subaru outback) with loads of cabinet space and a work bench.
