The temperate month of April on King Street with hundreds of people shopping, sightseeing, milling around, taking in the sights of 18th century architecture, and the 'buzz' of the city, sold us on this historic location. We can peer through our window at passersby (unnoticed)...great for people watching!
Centrally located directly overlooking King Street. This condo has unmatched metropolitan decor. Book this condo if you want to pamper yourself and 'get away from it all.'
King Street is historic Charleston's shopping destination. The condo is located on middle King Street (known as the Fashion District) between Calhoun & George Streets. Clothing boutiques and designer shoe stores begin only a few doors down. Williams-Sonoma's new Charleston location is 1/2 block north, and Pottery Barn is 1/2 block south of the condo entrance. The condo is 1-1/2 blocks from Marion Square (Farmer's Market).
Besides the history, besides the shopping, there is always a 'buzz' of activity on King Street. Second Sunday (when only pedestrian traffic is allowed) restaurants place tables in the street, diners enjoy eating outside and people mill about--just a wonderful, festive atmosphere...and you can see it all from our condo.
