I had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful pied-a-terre for 5 nights. It is beautifully decorated and has all the comforts of home! I got to experience this as soon as I started to unpack and discovered that a beauty product had exploded in my luggage. I was able to use the washer/dryer combo (such a nifty little appliance) and luckily saved my clothing from ruin! This condo is gorgeous and elegant but still homey! All of my friends, who were staying in various B&Bs, were quite envious. One said he felt like he was in a luxurious Vegas hotel and another was so in love with the couch that he wanted to move in! Everything you could possibly need is provided from the aforementioned washing machine to dishes for entertaining or cooking to a pretty encompassing DVD collection for those lazy afternoons. The location is perfect as King street is the place to be! Shopping, great restaurants, and fun people to watch are literally right outside the door. I didn't have a car and other than catching a ride to the wedding I was in town for, I never needed one! I even strolled down to White Point Garden in about half a hour and with all the activity and beautiful homes along the way, I enjoyed every step! The owners were very responsive and easy to work with during the booking process as well as after my stay. I never had need to contact them during my stay but they did provide contact information so I knew they were available if necessary. The condo is secured with a keypad entrance to the building as well as another to the door of the condo so I always felt safe. I was concerned about noise from the street level and you can hear some at night from the living area but the bedroom is situated at the back of the condo and this light sleeper was never awoken by any external noise! There were also lots of little touches in this condo that I enjoyed...remote controlled lighting, an amazing shower, a cute little Keurig to make my morning coffee and a notebook from the owners giving the history of their pied-a-terre and how to use all the gadgets! I can't say enough about the comfort and beauty of this place!!!
I encourage anyone who wants a unique Charleston experience to book this pied-a-terre...it is truly a home away from home!
