Please note: summer rental only. This magnificent 1930s home is nestled on the shoulder of Fitch Mountain, affording spectacular views of surrounding mountains and vineyards. Bright and airy, the home offers private country living, yet is only 3 minutes drive from Healdsburg’s vibrant downtown and Plaza.

Situated on a generous 1 acre landscaped property, the sunny house has been renovated to offer a contemporary kitchen and clean living spaces. Enjoy the superb climate by relaxing beside the pool or on the gracious epay deck, where you can absorb the bucolic surrounds, punctuated by hummingbirds, herons and redwoods. Fire up the gas grill and dine al fresco in one of the outdoor entertaining areas. The deck is the ideal location for basking in the last light of the day, as the sunset casts golden hues throughout the hills and valley.

If you can bring yourself to leave the house, you'll find an abundance of activities beyond the doorstep. Downtown is a mere 3 minute drive, with an array of restaurants, tasting rooms, boutiques, and art galleries, as well as a library and museum. You won't want to miss the Farmers Market on Tuesday and Saturday, and live music in the Plaza on Tuesday evenings. It is an ideal location for exploring the wine country and surrounds of Sonoma, Napa and Mendocino.

If you enjoy outdoor activities, this house is the ideal launching point. There is walking access to gorgeous hikes, trail runs and mountain biking up Fitch Mountain, with swimming, canoeing and fishing on the Russian River just down the hill. A desirable destination for cyclists, Healdsburg has a multitude of beautiful routes to explore.

The home comfortably sleeps 6 people, with 3 bedrooms (2 queen beds and a set of twin beds) and 3 full baths, in addition to a pool bathroom. The fully equipped contemporary kitchen and breakfast room, along with the adjoining dining room and living room, each have breathtaking views. There is an additional living room, office and laundry room on the lower level. The house is best suited for a family with 2-4 kids, or two couples.

Sorry, no pets allowed. This home is not for rent as a party house.

Wow! Amazing experience, from the warm & professional communication with the owners to the actual house. Couldn't get our kids out of the pool...but that was fine with us, because we felt no strong need to tear ourselves from the deck as we sipped our gin & tonics. Great kitchen, lovely garden, and so private. Many reasons to return!

Relaxing and invigorating

We loved our stay here. The house was clean, sunny and roomy. Between relaxing in the adirondacks, hiking the mountain followed by a dip in the pool, and grilling fresh food from the Farmers Market, we didn't want to leave. Such a comfortable, peaceful spot. And watching the daily flight of the heron at dusk was magical. We just didn't have enough time to explore the wineries, hip bars and buzzing restaurants!

This lovely home and spacious property gave us the perfect family vacation experience. Between the clean, comfortable house, the pool and deck, and the incredible views (from indoors and out), we had a hard time venturing off the property! Canoeing the river was a highlight, as was winetasting and dinner in town.
