Wake up to spectacular views of the water from either of the two large masters and city and golf course views from third bedroom. Sit out on the 430 sq ft of any of the 4 balconies while you watch the seagulls diving for food or the waves rippling on the 5 miles of secluded, private beach front. Grill up the fish you caught and have a cocktail while you watch the spectacular sunsets at the pool, that are so much a part of LaPaz. After a day at the beach or swimming with the sea lions, take a long hot shower in one of 3 seperate bathrooms with floor to ceiling travertine showers. Take the private boat shuttle to the Melecon so you can explore down town LaPaz. Make sure to stop at LaFuenta for some fantastic home made ice cream and gelatto while you stroll the 7 miles of tiled waterfront walkways. There are plenty of great places to eat along the Melecon all within walking distance or a 40 peso cab ride. Play a round of golf on the award winning Arthur Hills golf courseand the newly opened Troon course at Costa Baja. If you fly in to LaPaz, take the cab to the Cortez Marina dock where you will board one of our eco friendly boats for the 10 minute boat ride to the Palapa where you will be greeted by staff and driven to your condo. All boat are included for guests. Take the one hour drive to Todos Santos for a day of shopping and surfing .. have lunch or enjoy a cocktail at the famous 'Hotel California'. A must is a trip to Espiritu to swim with the sea lions and dolphins. It is spectacular and includes lunch at a prestine beach with the most beautiful clear blue water. The cost is about $65 per person US. There are so many great things to see and do in LaPaz and the people are super friendly. The infiniti pool is spectacular at 50 meters and has a great view of the water. There are plenty of beach lounges with sunbrellas, swim up bar and grill while you bask in the sun. Currently living in Denver CO, we were introduced to La Paz first in 2004 and have been coming down every year since. We love our place so much we bought a second one to use if this one is rented when we want to come down. We have created so many memories here we hope you will to.
Bradley Schutt purchased this condo in 2010
When we saw this place was being developed someone said beachfront, golf, tennis, world class fishing, scuba diving and friendly people so we decided we needed something more permanent. We always find a new place to explore or a new restuarant to visit that is out of this world. It is so peaceful and friendly here you won't want to leave. It is so easy to get here by plane or driving over from Cabo and the privacy and exclusivity of it makes it a real paradise. The sunsets and sunrises are beautiful and the weather is excellent. you get the breeze from the water and you can walk for miles on the beach. The food is fantastic and inexpensive. We have a desalinization plant so all the water is plentiful, safe and clean
VIews Views Views Views, wake up with the sound of the surf in your ears and the millon dollar views. Beautiful beach, great large infinity pool and hot tub, with swim up palapa bar and grill. WIFI Resort wide, Award winning golf course, lighted tennis courts, beach volleyball and Bocci ball. Walk the beach front, bike it or kayak you may even see dolphins!
We were fortunate to be able to visit La Paz for three weeks in February and March of 2014. We chose Pa Paz to have a more laid back type of vacation rather then the Cabo resorts 3 hours south. We were not disappointed in any way and would highly recommend a trip to La Paz, Baja and the Paraiso del Mar resort on the Magote.
Brad's c301 condo is fantastic! The photos are exactly what you get (which doesn't always happen!) Brad's condo is furnished with very high quality furnishings, the kitchen is well stocked (almost as good as home) and his DVD collection kept us entertained on our evenings we stayed in. However, for our entire vacation, the satellite TV did not work. It was not a big deal for us but others may expect a condo with 4 TV's to work.
For drinking water we bought the jugs from the HOA office for 50 pesos. It was worth it to me as I am not one to chance the water when I am in Mexico. We did not have any stomach issues by observing some common sense. We loved the condo and the complex - both were immaculately clean and we did not have any unexpected critters in the unit. We did make the mistake of leaving our drapes open one night and I did get eaten alive with mosquitos but this only happened once and was rectified when we closed the draperies in the evenings. The pool area and beaches are really special at Paraiso del Mar. Of particular note is the Survivor Bar where Sergio, Pablo, Alex and the gang were really great. The food coming out of that kitchen was absolutely, bar none, *****5 star quality*****!!! I tried Yellow Tail for the first time (more than once) and although I am not a huge fish eater, I would order fish all the time if it was prepared like this! Pablo serves a fantastic marguarita and his Pina Colada ended up being my favorite. I highly recommend more than one trip to the SurvivorBar. They really deserve the support and you will not be disappointed.
La Paz is a very unque place to visit. We took a few tours but our absolute favorite was a day trip out to El Spiritu Santo island. We chose not to take a panga (too small and the ocean gets choppy in the PM) but we had a great experience with Sun Rider Tours (the boat was much bigger and had a WC on board). I would highly recommend this outfit as they combine sightseeing with a snorkling with the baby sea lions as a highlight! I am still sorting thru the 100's of photos of the amazing land and seascape in and around El Spiritu Santo. Thanks Brad, I look forward to returning!!!
We were fortunate to get to spend a month at Brads beautiful condo which is both well stocked and very comfy! We had the whole family down at Christmas and had a blast hanging out at the pool, kayaking with the dolphins, as well as right beside a whale shark, and a pod of pilot whales even went by quite close to us! All of the staff are incredibly hospitable and helpful and the survivor bar kept us um, hydrated (LOL) and well fed at all times. The guys went out fishing and we had the crew at the survivor bar cook up the Bonita that had been caught. They cooked it up 3 different ways and served it along side some side dishes and salads, all for an extremely reasonable price...BEST meal ever! We walked for miles down the incredible beach, played volleyball, had tons of fun at the golf course, and truly had an amazing time hanging out at the resort as well as checking out everything La Paz has to offer. Can hardly wait to return. Just got back a week ago and I already miss everyone and everything!
Condo was in excellent condition. Beautiful rooms, linens, etc. Transaction was easy. When we visited ferry was running every 30 minutes and as scheduled. From your room if you have not rented a golf cart you have to call the shuttle to pick you up, they can take up to 30 min, so you have to time right to not miss the next boat out. One time they took 30 minutes and we were about to miss the ferry, and another condo owner saw us and kindly gave us a ride to the dock. The pool, jacuzzi are very well kept and perfect temperature. The pool lounge does not open until 11:00 am. (not 8am). The price for what you get is an excellent value.
We had an excellent time on our vacation! The unit is even nicer in person then in the pictures, the property is well maintained, and the staff is supper friendly!! The unit is fully stocked with pretty much anything you would need for cooking, we ended up leaving behind condiments, etc, etc, that we never got around to using up (including an assortment of alcohol..lol)The pool side bar has great food and drinks, we saw the dolphins swimming past the property almost every morning! We never had to turn on the a/c as there was a beautiful breeze that came up from the ocean that keep the place cool! We flew into Cabo and rented a car for our time there, we parked close to the marina, and just took the trolley back and forth whenever we wanted to go to town to go shopping or out for meals. The golf course was nice, we are not big golfers but we had fun. We rented golf carts to get around the property and to get back and forth to the dock, but if you don't want to do that there is a van that will drive you back and forth anytime you need it! The guys went fishing and had a blast, caught about a 30 - 35 lb yellow tail tuna, and several other species of fish, it was the highlight of their trip!! Thanks Brad!! Hopefully we will back in the future!! (Honestly if i could run away and move there i would..lol)
I was a little hesistant about Mexico but could have never been so wrong....This place is incredible and as safe as any resort in the US. If fact several times I forgot we were in mexico until we went into town and found an incredible assortment of restaurants and fun places unique to mexico. The water taxi or Tolley was quick and always on time, transportation was great they were ready everytime we called (we had one issue but I think my spanglish needs some work). The photos were right on, super clean, with everything we are used to having at home. Please get to know the guys at the survivor bar at the pool they do a great job of taking care of any of your wishes..(thanks Sergio). My husband and son caught some fish and they cooked it right at the pool bar for us. We are hoping to get back for Christmas next year. Thanks again ..
What a great place to get away..secluded beach, no vendors, private island...I loved seeing the dolphins every morning with my coffee...I can't wait for my next trip back, condo was impeccable just as described..Survivor bar at pool killer the mojitos and bloody mary's...Thx again see you next year...Shelby
