I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
I was very happy with the location.
The vacation rental was somewhat dirty.
The property manager was somewhat unhelpful.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

Kona Surf & Raquet Club is a very nice development (well maintained, well situated, quiet), unfortunately this unit is not. It looked like there hadn't been a single upgrade in it for about 30 years. Wall paper was generally old (patched and peeling in some places), kitchen cabinets smelled, mattress in master bedroom was sagging, ceiling in the living room had mold spots all over it, many towels were threadbare and some of them had stains, carpeting was musty and old, clothes dryer dial was broken (making finding the correct setting nearly impossible), a bathroom waste basket was provided for the kitchen (making it necessary to take garbage out nearly every day), tiny ants were always crawling all over the counters (and we found some in the beds). Obviously this place needs a total overhaul before we would recommend it to anyone. Because we had booked at the last minute, we didn't have many options as most places with reasonable rates were already booked up.
