1 cabin, 2 bed and 2 bath sleeps 6; 2nd cabin, 5 bed 2 bath sleeps 12

This Hill country retreat consists of 2 cabins on our property which hosts majestic views of the Texas hills, wildlife and birds. Lounge on our wrap-around porches enjoying the breezes that blow year round. Hike to the top of our mountain and observe the landscape for miles. Play tennis on our tennis court or shoot some hoops on our basketball goal. Play horseshoes or roast marshmallows in one of our 2 fire pits. Enjoy a Texas sunset with a glass of wine in hand while sitting at our wine cellar. The cabin's feature full kitchens, air-conditioning/heating, full baths, and washer/dryer. One cabin features a wood burning, stone fireplace.

Susan and Steve Host are small business owners in Richmond, Texas.

Why Steve Host chose Leakey

Susan and Steve both vacationed at Garner State Park growing up, and always dreamed of having their own place. When they saw the property, they fell in love with it. They built all the structures on the property, and cleared the land. They have created a vacation place for their families and hope you enjoy it as much as they do.

What makes this estate unique

Steve and Susan hand picked where to place the cabins for optimal views as well as to take advantage of the breezes that blow through the porches year round. They have taken a great amount of time, energy and care to make the property a wonderful vacation destination for you and your family.

Lounge on our spacious wrap-around porches gazing at the Texas wildlife and birds. Play tennis on site at our tennis court. Watch the sun set with a glass of wine in hand at our wine cellar.

Definitely a hill country retreat

We had an awesome time in this property. All my friends loved the tranquil nature and peaceful atmosphere. We planned to go to Garner state park, but there is a lot to do here inside the property, we played volleyball, tennis, basketball & pingpong. It was an ultimate relaxing and fun weekend at this property. If there was wi-fi available in the cabins, it would have been better. But, the owner was kind enough to let us use wi-fi at their porch, however we did not do it. Beautiful porch in the main cabin, where you can sip your coffee and immerse into the nature. My 2 year old daughter was so happy exploring this beautiful piece of nature. Kids had a blast playing games. Nobody in our group wanted to leave, guess what? we are going again.
