Conveniently located on ground level, our spacious corner condominium comes equipped with all the amenities of home. A full kitchen for a night in, a large living space for entertaining or game night in with friends and family, and three very roomy bedrooms with two full size bathrooms make it easy to vacation with couples, friends and/or families.

The master suite is elegantly fitted with a king bed, its own private full bath with walk in shower, ample closet space and even a mini-fridge! The other two bedrooms are decked with two very clean and comfortable beds, one king, one queen, and are adjacent to a spotless full bathroom, hot hot water and amazing shower pressure!

Gorgeous floor to ceiling patio doors & windows look out onto the beautiful 18-hole playacar golf course designed by world renowned architect robert von hagge, making it a peaceful location to enjoy a relaxing cup of coffee in the morning or a comfortable night amongst our large outdoor patio space.

Private and secure, we also have an outdoor rooftop space for enjoying a riviera sunset.

A very private on-site pool and fitness gym are included with your stay at azul. The pool, coupled with the peaceful sounds of the golf course, a newly landscaped environment including an outdoor shower and patio furniture and the privacy of your own backyard dreamscape offer a number of relaxing combinations for families, singles, or couples to enjoy a day in.

About Jason Jones

From the first time my feet hit the sands and streets of Playa del Carmen, I knew I was home. With a career in the hospitality industry, finding a peaceful and relaxing getaway became a necessity. Born hospitable, entertaining family and friends comes as second nature, and there is no better place to do so then Playa del Carmen. I think of this place as my home, and wish to share my experiences and love for it, for all that stay.

Why Jason Jones chose Playacar

This property offers me the seclusion and calm that I desired when I need an escape from a hectic life, it's quiet and comfort allows for time, as well as my mind, to slow down. It is a quick drive to anywhere I need to go, but a far more peaceful walk. When my restlessness awakens and the need for social interaction arises, there is no greater experience than making international friends in the metropolis of 5th Ave., or on the sand staring at the breath taking ocean. The people here are amazing, after all, aren't you one of them? Wanting to accommodate everyone, this condo is one of the most spacious units I have every stepped into. Sharing this space with the family still feels like I'm on vacation, and for that I am thankful! With its size, layout, amenities, and location, this home is perfect for sharing the adventures and experiences of Mexico with another couple, the family, or a group of friends.

What makes this condo unique

Aside from the spaciousness and cleanliness of this place, its the ground level access that makes it great for families with children or elders. Our patio spills off onto the endless green of manicured gardens and grass of the golf course, an unbelievable landscape for our morning cup of Mayan coffee and yoga session. Step out to the pool for a relaxing float in the sun or catch some shade under the giant palm tree for more tranquility. Grab a bottle of wine and take it up to our private roof top terrace for a magical view of the Riviera Maya sunset, memories I won't forget. If you have a car, access in and out of the condo is incredibly easy, making it a ideal home-base for day trips and excursions. Being located on the main drag, taxis pass by constantly, making it easy to catch a cheap ride anywhere you want to go. Staying within the Playacar community, we and our guests are privileged to golf and beach club discounts, that does mean you'll be able to shoot par though ;).

Nice clean condo in Playacar

Arrived earlier than scheduled, staff was able to check us in when we arrived. Nice outdoor area, and maid was just finishing up when we arrived. Very clean, modern condo. 3 bedrooms, kitchen was equipped nicely. Everything as advertised. Only one small issue, a/c in master bedroom not cooling correctly. Informed staff on Wednesday am, and was not corrected during our stay. The main condo a/c did cool it enough to sleep.

We have had wonderful, restful and peaceful holidays in the condo. The design is very nice and you have everything you need - kitchen, bathroom everything perfect.
Shops for buying food and beverages are quiet near and to have biclcles was very good.

Having the good fortune to travel to Playa del Carmen on many previous occasions, I would often come across this (Jason's) condo listing while researching accommodations. It always caught my eye as being a large, spacious, bright and modern condo that is tucked away along the beautiful Playacar golf course. Unfortunately, being a creature of habit, I always passed it by and would book a condo in downtown Playa. And each trip I would return home saying I will never stay downtown again, the traffic, the never ending thumping club music, the dust and dirt from ongoing construction projects just kept getting worse each trip. I would return home needing a vacation to recuperate from my vacation, go figure. Something needed to change.

So for 2013 I reserved this condo, unfortunately, family and work required a cancellation on my part. 2014 rolls around and I try to book a two week stay six weeks out but it was already reserved. I end up booking downtown again, yes old habits are hard to break, a beautiful condo surrounded by all the problems mentioned above. At the end of the two weeks I was worn out and needed a break. Luckily for me, I was able to extend my trip by four additional days and take advantage of a four day gap on this condos reservation schedule.

I can happily report that this condo was all that and then some. The first morning I woke up and momentarily thought something was wrong, all I could hear were birds talking and tweeting outside the windows. Where was the roar of trucks and buses and the thumping techno music(?) from the beach clubs I would normally hear at 8 AM (and 1, 3, and 5 AM) downtown. The most unbelievable part was I had actually slept through the night!

To make this long ramble shorter, the condo was great. The grounds and pool area were spacious and well maintained by the complex's staff. Security will greet you at the complex gate and in my case help unload your bags into the condo. A reserved parking space is close to the front door and comes in handy when unloading supplies from the nearby Sam's Club and grocery stores. The condo is situated on the ground floor tucked away at one corner of the complex, the size, privacy, big patio and large expanses of glass makes you think you are in a private home versus condo. Your views out are all of green lawn and bushes, no one is looking back in at you.

Will I stay here again, most certainly!! Thank you Jason, I will return!

Excellent experience

Six of us (four adults, two children) stayed at Jason's condo in March 2014, and we really could not have been more satisfied. The condo itself is great, with a private patio, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a feeling of spaciousness that was very relaxing. We never felt cramped in any way, and the closet space (hangers included!) was super. The furniture is in excellent condition and the beds were very comfortable. Everything was very clean. In the two showers the water pressure was the best we've ever seen in Playa. The kitchen is very well equipped with pots, dishes and utensils. We cooked all our own meals so we were grateful for the easy walking access to the supermarket, Soriana. (And just in case this is of interest to anyone, a local health food store stocks gluten-free bread, which is difficult to find elsewhere in Playa.) We were met on arrival and everything was clearly explained. We found no reason to seek any help during our stay. Can't tell about the air conditioning because we never turned it on, preferring to enjoy the heat, but the condo pool was excellent and we were often the only ones there.
My only lingering question is about the distance to the beach. Jason's ad describes it as a "short 20-minute walk" and another reviewer writes that it's a brisk 10-minute walk. But I would have to say that the walk to the beach is, at best, a brisk 25-minutes and 35 minutes at a more leisurely pace. It's a bit of a challenge with little ones.

Our month in Playa

We have just returned from a month at Jason's condo in Playacar and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The condo was clean and ready when we arrived. As we were staying for a month and planned to do a lot of eating in, Jason had purchased a lot of new items for us including new dishes and flatware for which we were very grateful. The condo property is well maintained and the staff does a great job and are very friendly. Security is 24 hrs and they do regular walks around the whole property. As the whole of Playacar is also a gated community we felt very safe both day and night. The trip into Playa del Carmen is a 20 minute brisk walk or 5 minute cab ride. We like walking so it was fine for us but if you are not a walker the cab fare is 70 pesos or around $6 Cdn. Jason also has two bikes available for your use. If you do plan to eat in, Sorianna, a supermarket is a 10 minute walk away and has everything you will need. We also went to Mega in Playa Del Carmen (about a 40 minute walk) which has a great meat shop and is also close to DAC where you can get great fresh veggies and fruits.

Overall Jason was great to deal with and the condo management team were always there if we had any questions or needed anything. We are looking forward to returning as it was the perfect place for us.

Awesome place, excellent location, great people to deal with

I know PDC very well, spending about 2 months a year there. The place I usually stay at is almost downtown, right in the middle of it all. When it wasn't available I choose Jason's place for a quiet change - hey, you don't have to stay in the 3 rings to enjoy the Circus. Playacar is one of the nicest parts of PDC - if not the nicest. Another world nestled away all on it's own - but still close to everything. A short cab ride to 5 ave or a very easy, entertaining and invigorating walk.
Jason's Condo is sweet - Spacious, spotless, tucked away with all the amentities you need. This is a modern, uptodate Complex/Unit, like we all know back home. Awesome water pressure ( can be a challenge in PDC), A/C that kicks, Cable that gives you just enough Spanish channels for culture and enough English for winding down. Great Wifi, local phone, your own W/D right there. Nice furniture, great beds - that's the best part of VRBO's - they are someone's home and I've never been disappointed by one. Jason's unit sits at the end of the complex, tucked away from it all. Unique layout - definitely not a concrete box. There's a security gate to pass through - lowkey - so if you want to rent a car, you know it will have it's own, safe spot. The neighbours I ran into were all extremely nice and friendly...and not hard on the eyes. The Condo grounds are spacious and well cared for, excellent pool that faces the south so it's warm and perfect for catching rays. And ...not enough can be said about the people managing his unit - fixed all the little issues that do arise and where there whenever I needed them - in English. So if you're going to party downtown or looking for a quiet nice place for your family - stay at Jason's - you won't be disappointed. Oh yeah, Jason was a treat to deal with too. ;)
