Maui Kai 806 is an oceanfront Junior Suite (studio) with a perfect ocean view that has been completely renovated and offers stylish Tommy Bahama furniture, an iPod stereo and a new 40 inch LED HD TV with Blu-ray DVD player.

The island kitchen offers all new appliances including a dishwasher. The bathroom is custom tiled. Complementing the tradition of the Islands with its Hawaiian-style earth tone colors, it is conveniently located on the north side of Kaanapali beach and is within minutes drive of the world famous historic Lahaina.

Enjoy incredible sunsets, panoramic ocean views, whales in season, a warm, sandy beach and unobstructed vistas to Lanai and Molokai while you relax on our large private lanai.

Staying in Maui Kai 806 includes the convieninecs of a condo with all the hotel amenities. Services include front desk check-in and daily maid towel service. There are no cleaning fees although daily amenity fee may apply. Parking, in-room high speed WiFi internet, local calls and a safe are also provided as is full access to privated heated pool and hot tub spa.

Binoculars, beach towels, beach chairs and boogie boards are also provided in the room for when you are ready for fun on the beach.

We first went to Maui on our honeymoon 25 years ago and have been going back ever since. In 2007, we finally had the opportunity to purchase a vacation property of our own!

Art and Sophie Nickel purchased this condo in 2007

Great location on the north part of Kaanapali Beach and true ocean front. There's nothing like going to sleep and hearing the waves crash onto the beach.

One of the few condos in Maui that is really beach front and ocean front. A lot of people claim this but not many can deliver like Maui Kai 806. Top it off with a perfect 8th floor ocean view and Lanai and Molokai across the water.. priceless.

Loved Maui Kai

We stayed in unit #806 in October. We made reservations through the owner Art Nickel and he was very helpful and made the entire reservation process easy. The property was excellent, right on the water, and everyone there was very friendly. There was also plenty of free parking. Our unit was in excellent condition with nice furnishings, a well equipped kitchen, and a wonderful balcony with an amazing view. We saw turtles every day. Free wifi was great too. There is washer and dryer on the same floor which was convenient to use. There is also daily maid service, even though it is a condo rental. Everything was clean and fresh. There is a grocery store across the street and many restaurants nearby, some in walking distance. We will definitely choose Maui Kai for our next stay and unit #806 will be our first choice

Excellent stay

I am a little late writing this review, but we stayed in unit #806 for seven nights in October. As soon as we checked in, we knew we made the right choice. Everyone at Maui Kai is so friendly. They even gave us a reusable bag for the grocery store. We got to our room and it was just like in all the pictures we saw, but better in person. We LOVED our entire stay. The view is spectacular and we saw turtles every day from the balcony. The kitchen set up is great and everything needed is there. All the furnishings are tasteful and in excellent condition. We used the pool, which was nice and quiet. We did not use the grilling area, but I did walk by and it was clean. We saw other guests using it. Our stay was an excellent value especially for the view and being right on the water.

We swam in the water just to the right of Maui Kai, but snorkeled each day at the near by Kahekili Beach park. It is in walking distance, or a quick drive with a large parking lot. We also enjoyed Duke's restaurant, also walking distance. The Times grocery store across the street is convenient. It is also walking distance, but we were lazy and drove.

I spoke with Art on the phone to reserve and he answered all my questions. He made the reservation process very easy. We are already planning a return visit and will not even think of staying anywhere else.

Wonderful Waterfront View!

We had a nice week long stay in Maui Kai 806, which we booked directly with owners Art and Sophie Nickel. They were most helpful, and provided us with their local tips on things to do and see. They truly exhibited the "Aloha" spirit! We probably enjoyed the lanai more than anything else, reading, relaxing and watching the whales. Incredible view across the water of neighboring islands - very cool.

Wonderfully relaxing time in a great condo

A clean, fantastic location, all the amenities of home, and the roaring ocean under your doorstep..you can't beat this beautiful unit. Art and Sophie Nickel take great pride in making sure your stay is memorable...IF you're not on your honeymoon, you will certainly feel like it..walking distance to Java Jazz, Dukes and many other quaint places to walk to by beach front or street...we can't say enough about these owners and this unit..A must stay! We will be back,
