LUXURY HUNTING CABIN 'ON THE ROCKS'

'On the Rocks', our mountain getaway, is located just southeast of Fort Davis on top of a scenic bluff overlooking beautiful Muzquiz Canyon and Mitre Peak of the Davis Mountains. There are porches on all four sides of the house, each with its own view of West Texas. We are less than 10 minutes from the history of Fort Davis, 25 minutes from the art galleries of Marfa, and 20 minutes from Alpine, making it easy to explore what makes each town unique.The master bedroom has a king bed with its own fireplace and bathroom. One guestroom has a king bed and the other a queen, each with their own bathroom. There is also a loft with two twin beds with access from the west bedroom.

Hardwood floors, cedar ceiling and non-mortared rock construction with a basement dug into the side of the bluff on which the house sits, make for a very comfortable stay throughout the year. Central a/c and heat were added early 2012, along with all new stainless appliances.
