We are a couple in our mid 30's that moved to New Orleans from Norway about 10 years ago. We have a 3 year old daughter and a friendly cat. This is the house we live in, but given the fact that we travel a lot and often leave for Norway for several weeks at the time, we decided to rent our house when we are not there.
When we first moved to the area we lived in the suburbs, but when we got to know the city we fell in love with the beautiful Uptown and decided to settle down here. It is so close to everything and it is a place that gives you that true New Orleans feeling and experience.
The house is 100 years old and has a lot of charm and character. Upstairs has a renovated kitchen and living room with an open floor plan. From this level there is also access to a big balcony in the back that has a gas bbq and table that will sit 6-8 people. There is also a small balcony in the front where you can enjoy your morning coffee and watch the people walking the street below.
